INSTRUCTIONS
GETTING STARTED USING THE BRUSHES
To begin using the Drunk Sailor Stippling There are a few ways to use the brushes in your Brushes, open the work. LOCATING YOUR BRUSHES
Your new brushes should pop-up in the Brush Window when you install them. If you cannot find them, just click the Library icon at the bottom of the Brush Panel.
ADJUSTING THE BRUSHES
To adjust brush size, simply increase the stroke size.
You can also change the color of your Ink Master
brush by changing the chosen stroke color.
To add these brushes to your working brush
panel, select all the brushes, click the menu icon in the top corner, and choose Add to Brushes. The Drunk Sailor Stippling Brushes will appear in the Brushes panel.
RETROSUPPLY QUICK TIP
The brushes are currently set to
pressure sensitive so they can be easily used on tablets.
To change the settings so they
are not pressure sensitive, follow the instructions below for each type of brush.
Scatter Brushes: Double click the
brush in the brush panel and choose Fixed Width in the Size drop down menu.
Art Brushes: Double click the
brush in the brush panel and choose Fixed in the Width drop down menu.
Pattern Brushes: Double click the
brush in the brush panel and choose Fixed in the Scale drop To save the brushes so that you can use them in down menu. other documents, select all the brushes, click the menu icon in the top corner, and choose Save Brush Library and click Save. Now your brushes are ready to use in any document!
HOW TO VIEW EXAMPLE FILES
We have included two example illustration files so that you can get ideas on how to use the brushes.
You can find these files in the folder titled
D. Example Files.
When you open the files, there will be a clipping
mask on the illustrations. You will need to release the clipping mask in order to see the brush strokes and patterns. To do this, just select the illustration and go to Object> Clipping Mask> Release.
