unpack the rear end subassembly, the main frame assembly, and the parts box. begin charging the battery (10 hours) locate the seat assembly and insert it into the frame, past the minimum insertion line. close the quick release lever securely1

to assist in the next step, make sure the heads of the bolts attached to the rear end are pushed ush with the frame (1). the bolts attached to the frame itself should be pushed in the opposite direction (2)

wrap the chain around the two gears shown.

slide the rear-end assembly into the main frame. make sure the rear axle is perpendicular to the frame, but do not tighten the bolts yet insert the stem into the head slide the stem into the head tube, align the handlebars to tube, then tighten the wedge be securely2 y boltperpendicular to the fork, then tighten the wedge bolt2

close the transfer chain by reattaching the master link, then reverse step 9 to snap on the face plate

turn the tricycle upside down, so its weight rests on the seat and handlebars loosen, but do not remove, the four carriage bolts shown

locate the extra chain wrapped around the rear axle, hereafter referred to as the transfer chain. nd the transfer chains master link, then, using a pair of pliers, slide its face plate completely off. the entire link will then slide out, breaking the chain in half

tighten the four carriage bolts. note the proper alignment of the front and rear frame sections. when properly adjusted, the transfer chain should have about 1/4in of vertical play
* tighten bolts to 450in-lbs (50Nm)

insert the front wheel into the fork, slide a washer on each axle, then tighten the axle nuts securely *350in-lbs (39.5 Nm)

attach the rear wheel hardware as shown in the exploded diagram. tighten the four nuts securely *350in-lbs (39.5 Nm)

route the motor wire along the frame using zip ties to secure it to the bike. close the controller box, routing the wires out the bottom as shown

install the rear wheels. notice that the left-side rear axle has a at section and the right-side does not

ip the tricycle right-side-up for nal assembly open the controller box on the tricycles left side, then plug the motor into the open connector shown

fold the basket into shape, securing the corners with the attached silver pins

attach the rear basket using four Phillips-head bolts

install the pedals and tighten them (325 in-lbs, 38 Nm). the left side pedal is reverse threaded, the right side is standard

while pulling the locking pin outward (1), slide the battery into the frame. once the battery is seated, release the pin to lock the pack in place, then connect the battery plug (2)

install the front fender using the three bolts shown, then close the front brake. check the front and rear brakes at this time for proper operation. if necessary, consult the owners manual for assistance

ip the seat forward using the release lever below it. this allows access to the battery compartment

charge the battery for 10 hours. after the initial charge, recharge for 8-10 hours after each use
