livelihood enhancement project

Very glad to announce the launch of ‘Promoting Education, Vocational Training, Skill
Building and livelihood enhancement project’ by Megha Engineering & Infrastructures
Limited (“MEIL”) under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity through its
subsidiary Company namely MEIL Foundation, a Company established under section 8 of
Companies Act, 2013 (erstwhile Section 25 of Companies Act, 1956) vide CIN
U85100TG2012NPL082259 and having CSR Registration No: CSR00002420, for extending
the training in market linked skills to youth to enable them to compete in the job market for
imparting the training with requisite skills and provided increased opportunities to youth from
economically marginalised communities.
The main aim of the Company is to transform the people into resources by bridging the gap
between the essential and existing skills by providing industry-relevant, job-oriented vocational
training courses to cater to the ever growing need for professionally trained human resources in
the various industries which is very much critical to the Country’s social and economic progress.

The programme is designed to prepare the youth for life skills learning, paving the way for a
progressive nation and a better world that recognises the dynamics and challenges of an ever-
evolving and increasingly interconnected world, and celebrate the continuum of values and
culture of a vibrant, harmonious and forward-looking society by improving their productivity to
ensure economic empowerment and build their confidence.
PROJECT LOCATION:
MEIL Foundation
Vocational training centre,
Boothpur, Mahbubnagar District,
Telangana, India.

The courses proposed to be undertaken by MEIL to promote education and skill building under
this programme are Supervisor Electrician , Assistant electrician, Electrician , Fabricator ,
Construction fitter, Storekeeper, Store Assistant or such other courses to meet the industrial
needs from time to time.
The eligibility Criteria for the candidates:
8th/10th/Intermediate/ITI/ Graduation pass/fail candidates.
MODEM OF TRAINING:
The modem of training is a residential training where the eligible candidates have to stay in
house as per the requirement of the Training Programe which might be from One Month to 45
Days, their boarding and lodging arrangements will be taken care by the MEIL Foundation.
Faculties with specific domain expertise will extend the training as per the course curriculum.
MEIL Foundation conducts both theoretical and practical examinations to evaluate the
performance of the participants. A robust system of regular assessments and certification on
successful completion of the training is an integral part of the program. After completion of
training, the beneficiaries are rewarded with certificates.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AFTER COMPLETION OF TRAINING
Upon completion of training, MEIL Foundation organises a “Campus selection programme”
by inviting various Corporates across different industries in order to provide the employment
opportunities to the candidates who have completed the training successfully as per the norms of
the respective course.
IMPACT ANALYSIS
MEIL Foundation proposes to conduct the impact analysis for measuring the impact of this
training programme in the society from time to time i.e number of placements, improvisation in
trainee’s family income and their standard of living etc., in order to analyse the variance for the
improvement of the programme for contributing the best to the Society at large.
