INTRODUCTION

The first laboratory activity is an overview to Microsoft Excel. This activity focuses
on the fundamentals of Microsoft Excel tools, which allow students to enter quantitative
data into electronic spreadsheets and perform numerous and complex mathematical
computations. Excel information is utilized to make informed decisions in both
professional and personal circumstances.
Even for the first time, using Microsoft Excel with accurate and comprehensive
instructions helped me learn the entire concept of how to correctly operate in Excel. It
assisted me in becoming familiarized with manipulating both basic and complex
procedures on the data provided for this activity.

METHODOLOGY

We were instructed to implement the commands of the given data step by step by
altering the font style, size, color, and text format, adjusting the column and row width,
formatting the data and cells width, height, border, and data alignment, and moving,
renaming, inserting, and deleting data into the worksheets. This process was similar to
that of Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

Table 1. Medical Office Budget

The Medical Office Budget spreadsheet/worksheet was created as a consequence

of the data from Table 1. Salary, medical supplies, prescriptions, rent, office supplies,
phone & utilities, and their budget costs were provided from the sum of Quarters 1-4. We
can utilize the structured data to correctly allocate the expenditures for each item required
for the Medical Office Budget.
Table 2. Status Report Sales and Inventory by Item.

The Status Report Sales and Inventory by Item spreadsheet/workbook was created as a
result of the table 2 data. The data of seasons included in the study indicates the range
of data collected from Fall of 2018 to Spring of 2019. Listing the item code, price, the
commodities, the sales in units, and the season's inventory. This table shows the sum of
both sales and inventories in units.

CONCLUSION

In summary, I performed this study to understand how to work in Microsoft Excel,

doing the foundations from basic to complicated computation of our instructor's given
data. Step by step, we change the font style, size, color, and text format, adjust the column
and row width, format the data and cells width, height, border, and data alignment, and
move, rename, insert, and delete data into the worksheet. This helped me to become
familiarized with altering the data offered by Microsoft Excel.
