The italicized word groups are Nominals. Indicate their functions and write in the
blanks.

Underline the non-finite verbals and accompanying verbal groups. In the blank,
indicate the functions in the non-finite verbal groups as the example.

Example: 1. Having sprinkled the lawn, he turned off the water.

2. She remembered seeing the play before. => V+DO

3. Do you like to be there? => V+DO

4. We urged the guests to remain for dinner. =>V+OP
