Sub: State Functions – Vikarabad District - Nomination of Dignitaries to unfurl


the National Flag on Telangana Formation Day 2020 on 02.06.2020 at
Districts – Instructions – Orders Issued.

O R D E R:

The Government vide reference cited have decided to celebrate the Telengana
Formation Day as a State Function on 2nd June, 2020 at the Head Quarters and all
Districts in the Telangana State.

The Government in their orders has instructed that the said function will be
conducted at District Head Quarters (i.e.,) Collectorate, Vikarabad on 02.06.2020. For
which, the Government have allocated the said celebrations to the Hon’ble
Ministers/Dignitaries in the state. Accordingly the Hon’ble Deputy Speaker, TSLA Sri.T.
Padma Rao will attend the said Function on the said date, pay floral tributes at
Telangana Martyr’s Memorials. There after the Hon’ble Deputy Speaker will unfurl the
National Flag at 9:00 AM in Collectorate, Vikarabad.

Further, the Government have also instructed that the local MLAs, Mayors, ZP
Chairpersons, Chairpersons DCCB, DCMS, Municipal Chairpersons and District Level
Officers in the District Head quarters will participate at the Collectorate. “High tea”
arrangements, at suitable, close-by place preferably with in the Collectorate shall be
made for all the dignitaries and officers.

Further, the Government have instructed that all the important dignitaries like
MLAs, Mayors, ZP Chairpersons, Chairpersons DCCB, DCMS, Municipal Chairpersons
and Head’s of officers are requested to unfurl the National Flag in their respective offices
at 8:30AM. Similarly MPPs are requested to unfurl the National Flag in MPP office and
Sarpanches shall do the same in Gram Panchayat offices.

Further, it is also instructed that the Flag Hosting shall be conducted by Head of
the Offices in all Government offices at different levels.

In view of the above said instructions issued by the Government for conducting
of the Telangana Formation Day celebrations and in order to arrange proper and
necessary arrangements at Collectorate Vikarabad the following duties have been
entrusted to the various District level Officers as shown here under.

1 Decoration to Amaraveerula Sthoopam


Action: Executive Engineer, R & B, Vikarabad
2 Sanitation arrangements at Collectorate Ground, Garden, etc.
Action: Commissioner, Vikarabad Municipality
3 Hand wash / sanitizer and Drinking water arrangements
Action: Commissioner, Vikarabad Municipality
4 Decoration and arrangement of Pandals at Collectorate
Action: Tahsildar, Vikarabad Mandal
5 Arranging flowers, flower plants at Collectorate
Action: District Horticulture & Sericulture Officer, Vikarabad
6 Painting to Trees at Collectorate Ground, Garden
Action: District Forest Officer, Vikarabad.
7 Painting to Collectorate Building & Grills.
Action: Executive Engineer, R & B, Vikarabad
8 List of Invitees & Distribution of Invitation Cards
Action: RDO, Vikarabad and Tahsildar, Vikarabad
9 Illumination to Collectorate Building
Action: Commissioner, Vikarabad Municipality
10 Arrangements of Guard of Honour
Action: SDPO, Vikarabad
11 Speech of the Chief Guest & Media Arrangements
Action: CPO,Vikarabad/DPRO, Vikarabad
12 Sound Systems
Action: DPRO, Vikarabad and Tahsildar, Vikarabad Mandal
13 First Aid Centre & 108 Ambulance
Action: DM & HO, Vikarabad
14 Fire Engine with all necessary fire equipments.

15 High Tea Arrangements
Action: District Civil Supplies Officer, Vikarabad

Hence, it is instructed that the arrangements as shown above shall be attend on


war foot basis, complete them by 01.06.2020 and get ready for celebrating said function
without any inconvenience to the dignitaries and also ensure the said programme will
go on peacefully and in grand scale.

The Officers are requested to follow the instructions issued on Flag Code, 2002
and to avoid usage of plastic flags.

In view of Pandemic COVID-19, measures like of use of masks, distancing,


availability of sanitizers, sanitizing spray and keeping only optimal number of
participants shall be ensured.
