II. RATIONALE

Digital poster making is an innovative and new way to showcase the artistic sides of the students
compared to our old school type of poster making using oil pastels and other kinds of art materials to convey their
messages. Through this the technology skills that everybody needs on this days are well enhanced and challenge
to uplift their knowledge in the field of digital or technology. This year’s theme for the entries is ‘Barkada Kontra
Droga” this proposed activity would be a good opportunity for the learners to enhance and showcase their talents
and knowledge.
Addiction and drug abuse interview would serve as an information giver to best describe and elaborate the
things and insights that is needed to clarify when it comes on being drug and substance dependent of a person.
This activity would help lessen or prevent the addiction not just in substance abuse but also in alcohol, cigarettes
and other addictive stuffs that may harm a human body most specially a learner’s body who is vulnerable to all
types of complication. The proposed activity would enrich the knowledge of each learner on the consequences
that they might face when they consider using or taking addictive substance.
House to house drug awareness project is an actual project where the officers of Barkada Kontra Droga
can talk and discuss what is a drugs or substance addiction and its causes not just physically but most importantly
their psychological capacity, this would make way to strengthen the BKD campaign against the use and addiction
of drugs and other related stuffs. This proposed project can be the most effective way to spread out the
information and the stigma that using this with your peers or close relatives would make you cool and superior
among others and on the other hand let them know the consequences that they would face with using and being
addicted to drugs and substances.
Sports festival would be a great opportunity for the senior high school students to divert their attentions to
other things rather than to think of what to do the whole day or much worst other students to think of using drugs
or cigarettes. This activity would also strengthen the bond, cooperation and teamwork among senior high school
students especially Grade 11 students who are mostly don’t have the opportunity to get to know each other
personally. This proposed project would also be way maker to reintroduce the culture of Philippines that can be
considered forgot because of new ways to entertain their selves.

III. OBJECTIVES

This proposal aims to promote drug and substance free environment among the learners and alcohol
Specifically, these activities will:

1. Showcase students’ creativity.

2. Give insights on the consequences on using and being addicted to drugs or substance.
3. Promote a drug free community and spread knowledge about addiction.
4. Reintroduce Philippine culture.
5. Creating strong bond and teamwork among learners.
6. Divert their time and mind to a more productive activity.

IV. DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY

A. METHODOLOGY

1. Consultation with the School head and class adviser

2. Conduct a meeting regarding the system of the activities.
3. Prepare the set of programs needed at each of the activities.
4. Prepare the health and safety materials and guidelines needed in the program.
5. Coordinate with the stakeholders and Barangay
6. Follow the recommendations and suggestions that will be given by the stakeholders and Barangay.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Coordinate with the Barangay Local Government to seek assistance of 2 Barangay Health Workers and 2
Barangay Tanod during the conduct of the activities:
Barangay Tanod
1. Facilitate the distance when checking of temperature.
2. Assist and maintain the traffic management
3. Address participants concern
4. Help in the maintenance of the peace and order

Barangay Health Worker Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Checking of Temperature
2. Ensure that the participants log on the given logbook.
3. Conduct disinfection using alcohol
4. Remind participants about the health protocol
