song again. We will sing the ABC song. So the song goes this way.
C. Discussion
Teacher: So based on the song, do you now have an idea what our lesson is for this morning?
Okay, so our lesson is all about letters in the alphabet but this morning we will focus first on the
letter A.
Teacher: Letter A is the 1st capital letter in the alphabet. So this picture is the capital letter A,
and this one is the small letter A.
Teacher: Everybody say “ah”
(The kids will say “ah”)
Teacher: Now, based on the video, what are the things that start with letter A?
(The teacher will call one student to say the 1st thing that starts with the letter A based on the
video)
Teacher: So the word Airplane starts with the Letter A. Everybody say a-a-a Airplane!
(The kids will follow your instructions)
Teacher: Actually there are plenty of words that start with letter A, but I just give you 3. So now,
can you give me words that start with letter A?
D. Application
Teacher: Now class it’s drawing time! I have here bond papers and all you need to do is to draw
the things that start with letter A. Is that clear?
E. Generalization
Teacher: Now class, take a look at your work there. Do you think the letter A is very important?
Why?
(The students will answer the teacher)
Teacher: Very Good! Without letter A, there’s no airplane, alligator, and ant. So it is also
important that we learn about letter A.
