Editorial cartoon

An editorial cartoon is a single-frame illustration


that may either make fun of a political leaders and
institution or comment on current events. It is a graphic
representation of the author's thoughts and beliefs.

nag hahatid ng aral, nagbubukas ng isipan, and
naghahatid ng entertainment at impormasyon sa ating

In other words, this editorial cartoon is an art or idea of the author regarding our government that has
a meaning, we often see it in newspapers, internet, and magazines. Although not all editorial cartoons
are appropriate for the times, they are still significant ones that deliver lessons, open minds, and
deliver entertainment and information to our readers.
LEAF ART

DEF:

Is an art used in religious rituals belief, food


wrapping, and modern artistic expression.

“basically, ang leaf art ay isang uri ng art na


kung saan ay gumagamit ng dahon which is technically
dahon ang pangunahing materyales upang makagawa
ng isang art sa dahon. Ang patok na art ngayon ay ang
leaf portrait. Hindi lamang sa pag leaf carving ang
meron sa topic na ito, kasama dito ang mga palaspas, na
kung saan ay gawa sa leaf at ginagamit ito bilang isang
religious belief at ginagamit sa araw ng palaspas.”

Basically, leaf art is a type of art that uses leaves which are
technically leaves as the main material to make a leaf art.
The popular art today is the leaf portrait. This topic is not
only about leaf carving, it includes palms, which are made of
leaves and are used as a religious belief and are used on palm day.

MAT WEAVING

It is an art of “plaiting strips of organic fibers


into mats.” These mats locally known as banig.
One of humankind's oldest handicrafts is mat
weaving, which was made possible by
interlacing fibers from plants. These plain
items are more varied due to the weaver's
aesthetic sense and use of various pigments.

process involves casting and forging
pieces of brass or bronze.

In this type of multimedia, a visual


artist “ideates or sets up a situation, placing
philosophical value in the process itself, while
negating the importance of craftmanship in
arriving at a finished art object.”

ay isang idea ng author kabilang sa
contemporary arts na ipinapublish kadalasan
makikita sa mga museum. Ito ay isang sining
na kung saan ang isang ideya o consepto ay

impormasyon, mga paniniwala, at iba ba.”

In simple words, conceptual art is an author's idea among the contemporary arts that are published
and usually found in museums. It is an art in which an idea or concept has a deeper meaning, showing
emotion, deep information, beliefs, and so on.

INSTALLATION ART

In this type of multimedia art, the artist puts


together materials and objects in a exhibition space to
cast a new experience or idea.

this art is a three-dimensional art (3d) in which the


combined objects generate a new idea in the audience. Installation art is used to describe large-scale,
mixed-media constructions, often designed for a specific place or for a temporary period of time.
PERFORMANCE ART

DEF:

In this multimedia art, an artist convert him/herself into an


art object in motion and sound.

EXPLANASYON

“sa madaling salita ang art na ito ay isang performance na


kung saan ang mismong physical ng artist ang ginagamit upang
makabuo ng isang art. Halimbawa nito ang shadow dance, ang
shadow dance ay isang uri ng emotional/expression art na
nagpapakita ng iba’t ibang kaganapan, object, hayop at iba pa.”

in other words, this art is a performance in which the artist's physical body is used to create an art. An
example of this is shadow dance, shadow dance is a type of emotional/expression art that shows
different events, objects, animals and so on.
