Subject: PT-1S Printer Switch Settings.

Introduction
There are times when you may have to switch a PT-1S printer to work on a different
system in the course of one day of testing or troubleshooting. There are two sets of
commonly used settings, one for the IRC-3 and EST-2, the other for the EST-3
systems. SW1 and SW2 are located on the small Serial board under the cover of
the PT-1S Serial Printer. The Motherboard switch is located to the right side of the
serial card on the main motherboard.

In both cases the SW2 switches 1, 2 & 3 are the Baud Rate settings. The following
are the different Baud Rate settings that you may encounter. Substitute these
settings as needed.

Baud Rate 1 2 3
1200 ON ON OFF IRC3, EST2 if you are using a CDR3
2400 OFF OFF ON Normal for IRC3 and EST2
4800 ON OFF ON Normal for EST3
9600 OFF ON ON Optional for EST3
