- The conflict present in the scenario would be an argument between the Two teams in a hotel

because the other team would leave a mess and now the other team must handle it. With that

conflict the other supervisor stepped up and confronted the other supervisor.

What are the sources of conflict in the scenario?

- The sources of conflict in the scenario would be the laziness of the other team which does not

handle their tasks properly which leads to the conflict.

Explain how the two supervisors tried to resolve the conflict

- The two supervisors did not try to resolve the conflict but instead they continue to add fuel to

the fire by resorting to belittling and throwing insults and mean words to each other which not

resolve anything

List the negative effects that might result in the above situation and explain why?

- The negative effects that might result in the above situation would be further destroying the

relationship between the two teams and in turn it will affect the company because there would

be no teamwork between the two teams.

What better approach could have been applied to resolve the conflict?

- A better approach could have been applied to resolve the conflict would be to tell the higher

manager to check if the things that they say would be true. When the top management checks if

the supervisor says is true then further action can be established. When things are established

the lazy team can be also layed off with the employees which are not competent enough to

work.
