1.technical Analysis 2.0

This document provides an introduction to technical analysis in three parts: 1. It defines technical analysis as the study of past market prices to predict future market behavior. 2. It lists the three basic assumptions of technical analysis: that history repeats itself, prices move in trends, and everything is reflected in market prices. 3. It outlines three rules of trends: to expect trends to continue until reaching support/resistance or showing weakness; for sideways trends to continue; and to expect breakouts on strength approaching support/resistance.
