1. PURPOSE

1.1 The purpose of the policy is to furnish ADES (Company) personnel with a
means of deferring planned maintenance (PM). The P M D e f e r r a l
P r o c e s s allows an Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) to defer a PM due
date based on input from maintenance personnel while taking into
consideration operational, resource, safety and/or environmental concerns.

2. SCOPE

2.1 This policy applies to all Units owned or managed by Advanced Energy System
(ADES).

3. RESPONSIBILITY

3.1 The OIM is responsible for requesting a PM deferral.

3.2 The Rig Manager is responsible for operational approval of PM deferral


requests.

3.3 The Director of Maintenance is responsible for technical approval of PM


deferral requests.

4. PROCEDURE

4.1 Installations using the ORACLE Enterprise Asset Management (eAM)


computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) can request a PM
deferral through the ORACLE Work Flow System by using the PM WO (Work
Order), with Deferral request form (Ref. Doc. No: FRM-MNT-001-006)

4.2 The Rig Maintenance Crew initiates the request to defer a PM activity using
deferral form to fully understand the impact of deferring a PM WO owner (Rig
maintenance crew) to fill the Deferral request form (Ref. Doc. No: FRM-MNT-
001-006)
4.3 OIM/STP to sign the requested Job Deferral

4.4 All PM(s) are provided with a Fourteen (14) days grace period from the due date
before being shown as overdue in an ORACLE Work Flow Report.
Therefore, Rig Maintenance Personnel should have sufficient time either to perform
required maintenance or request a PM deferral before the PM becomes overdue.

4.5 When a PM Deferral WO document (Job Deferral form) is completed by the


UNIT, to be forward for review and approval, as follows:

4.5.1 The signed Job Deferral form to be forward to the Rig Manager (for
review in order to approve or reject the deferral request) and the
respective Rig PM engineer through E-mail

4.5.2 If rejected by rig manager, the WO will be returned to the OIM/STP


through the Oracle system to perform the required job tasks.

4.5.3 Rig manager to forward his signed Job deferral form with his approval
or reject to respective PM engineer through E-mail

4.6 The approved/ signed forms, will be forwarded to the Maintenance Director through
the respective Rig PM engineer - for their review and approval or rejection.

4.7 If rejected, Rig Manager to be informed and WO will be returned to the OIM/STP
through the Oracle system to perform the required job tasks.

4.8 The approved PM Deferral WO will be forwarded to the OIM/STP and Rig Manager
and is entered into the PM ORACLE Work Flow System for processing.

4.9 WO that approved to defer will be attached with Approved/ signed Job deferral form
in order to complete by PM engineer, close and Reschedule with approved date that
included in the Job Deferral form

4.10 Approved PM deferrals can be tracked through the ORACLE system on the
equipment PM history as deferred with permission in the related Deferral WO as
attachment.
