1. BACKGROUND OF THE COMPANY
founder of Tune Air Sdn. Bhd, who introduced the first budget no-frills airline, AirAsia, to
Malaysians with the tagline "Now everyone can fly". Fernandes managed to turn AirAsia, a
failing government-linked commercial airline, into a highly successful budget airline public-
listed company. He has since founded the Tune Group of companies. He is also the majority
shareholder of Queens Park Rangers Football Club. He is the owner of Caterham Group, the
AirAsia Berhad , was incorporated as a private limited liability company and is both
headquartered near Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is the largest airline in Malaysia by fleet size and
destinations. AirAsia operates scheduled domestic and international flights to more than 165
destinations spanning 25 countries. Its main base is KLIA2, the low-cost carrier terminal at
Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang, Selangor, Malaysia. Its affiliate airlines
Thai AirAsia, Indonesia AirAsia, Philippines AirAsia, and AirAsia India have bases in
Kempegowda airports respectively, while its sister airline, AirAsia X, focuses on long-haul
routes. AirAsia's registered office is in Petaling Jaya, Selangor while its head office is at Kuala
Lumpur International Airport. AirAsia Berhad , was incorporated as a private limited liability

4. CONCLUSION
AirAsia survived in a long years because this company practised good services towards its
stakeholder. AirAsia comply with all applicable laws and regulations, both in letter and spirit.
They treat all stakeholders such as shareholders, guests, suppliers, employees and the community
around them with respect. AirAsia also believes all employees, directors, agents and
representatives must share and practice the same beliefs. They cannot become part of AirAsia if
they are not prepared according to the same standards, or if there is a breach of any of these
conditions.
That we do our business fairly, impartially, ethically, and with the utmost regard to
safety.
That integrity be the basis of all our relationships whether with guests, suppliers,
