I. Introduction
A. According to Robert Baden-Powell, “The uniform makes for brotherhood, since when
universally adopted it covers up all differences of class and country.”
B. School uniform plays a major role in spreading uniformity, belongingness and equality
among students no matter from which class, section, religion, region, economic
strata or country they belong to.
II. Body
a. Because all students wear the same school uniform, it helps school staffs
in managing and identifying students easily.
a. When they are in school uniform they concentrate more on studies and
less on the clothes of others’ students.
E. School uniform prepares students to get ready quick and faster for school.
1. When students wear uniforms, they have an easier time getting ready for school
in the morning, as there's no need to pick out an outfit.
b. School uniforms can be time saving because it’s so much easier to wear it
than having to search for clothes to wear for school.
III. Conclusion
A. Wearing of school uniforms should be mandatory even though it is costly because it has
several benefits such as it brings uniformity and equality among students, develops
belongingness, makes students feel safe, develops a learning atmosphere among students,
teaches discipline among students, prepares students to get ready quick and faster for
school and it improves punctuality among students.
