I am not a computer science student and I started my freelancing


journey with very basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills back in 2012, but
as I meet new clients, I had to provide various services to different
clients, and I had to learn new skills, learn about new tools on the go and
this is how I grew…

Now, not only do I provide Data Entry services, I know WordPress, Email
Marketing, and Social Media Management and I provide the services
when a client reaches me to get their work done :-)

Sample Project: One

I have 2 Scanned Images or PDF files which I need to have in 2


Microsoft Word documents. Can you please type them out with all the
formatting and footer info? And please use Arial font with the size 11.

Website Scrape & Data Entry

Hi - I need help pulling data from websites and putting it into an excel
file. There are 5 tabs to fill in.

In the Trane, Lennox, and Johnson Control tab please copy and paste all
of the distributors from the website and put them in the attached
template.

On the Carrier & Goodman tabs, please search for the top 500 zip codes
and enter the distributor information into the excel file.

I believe you will find those project examples helpful in understanding
the Data Entry works available on freelance marketplaces. There are
many variants and types of Data Entry project needs.

I would recommend you to try completing these projects and evaluate


your understanding, knowledge, and experience in the Data Entry job
field.

Although these are really easy jobs, when you will work, you might find
some difficulties, and that will be the time when you will start learning
something new and will learn a new skill.
