Action Plan Reading Interventions SY 2022 2023

1. The Samar National School in Catbalogan City developed an action plan for reading interventions for SY 2022-2023. 2. Activities included orienting teachers, parents, and stakeholders on the Brigada Pagbasa program in July; classifying and providing reading materials for assessment in July; and conducting reading assessments of incoming Grade 7 students from July to August. 3. In September, training was provided on reading assessment, teaching beginning reading, and Phil-IRI to newly hired teachers and volunteers. Students' reading comprehension was assessed using Phil-IRI from September to October and students were classified by reading level.
