Dlp-Math 4

The daily lesson plan is for a 4th grade math class on triangles and quadrilaterals. The lesson objectives are to demonstrate understanding of parallel and perpendicular lines, angles, triangles, and quadrilaterals and to construct and describe them. Activities include using flashcards and drawings to review different types of lines and angles, grouping students to identify shapes, presenting word problems involving triangles and quadrilaterals, and having students form shapes on geoboards or paper to demonstrate understanding. Formative assessment includes an activity to identify triangles and quadrilaterals.

segments that are joined together? What do you call a 3-sided polygon? What
about a 4-sided polygon?
J. Evaluating Learning Paste cut outs of triangles and
Quadrilaterals. Let pupils group them according to number of sides and let them
give the name of each group.
