During our teaching interview, employers ask several questions to

gauge your commitment, effectiveness, and passion for this highly


demanding and rewarding career choice, one of which is "Why did you
decide to become a teacher?" to which the most common response is "I
decided to teach to make a positive difference in the lives of my students”,
a sincere and thoughtful response that demonstrates our commitment and
motivations. But the real question is, how can we make a difference in our
students’ lives?

I've been with the department for nearly 5 years since I graduated in
2017. I taught for one year in a private institution and four years in a public
school. Since then, I've known that teaching is one of the most rewarding
professions because it allows you to have an impact on a future generation.
It is, however, extremely difficult and exhausting—no one with actual
teaching experience will tell you otherwise. It takes patience, dedication,
passion, and the ability to do more with less to be a teacher. It is a perilous
journey that frequently has as many valleys as mountains. Those who are
committed to the profession do so simply because they want to make a
difference.

on Teacher Induction Program (TIP)
As a newly hired teacher of Schools Division Office-City of Malolos,
I promise to protect and promote the right of my learners to quality, equitable, culture-based
and complete basic education.
I promise to nurture every learner through a child-friendly,
gender-sensitive, safe and motivating classroom environment.

To facilitate learning every day, I will make functional lesson plan, daily log activities and
appropriate, adequate and update instructional materials, monitors, assesses, and evaluates learners’
progress, undertakes activities to improve performance indicators, maintain cleanliness, orderliness,
safety and upkeep of the classroom and Counsels and guides learners.

To maintain harmonious school-community relationship,


I will update parents and pupils progress regularly.
Supervises curricular and co-curricular projects and activities.
Conducts action research,
Participates in staff development activities, and utilizes KSA gained
from seminars, trainings, and scholarships.
Supports activities of governmental and non-governmental organizations and does related
work

As the torch bearer that provides quality education entrusted by the Department of Education.
I will continuously improve myself to better serve my dear learners.
