PLN Dumacaa

The Lucena river basin is made up of 2 major rivers, the Iyam River to the west and the Dumacaa River to the east. These twin rivers still contain a rich biodiversity of both flora and fauna. However, rapid urban development and human activities like improper infrastructure development and waste dumping threaten the rivers. The proposed site for development is located near Cotta and Dalahican barangays with access via major roads and a bridge. It has a balance of developed and undeveloped areas, green spaces, and economic potential from establishments in the area like the Cotta Port.
