The document describes two magic tricks: Folderoll, which allows a magician to write a prediction on the inside of a folded paper before revealing it, and Center Tear, where the magician discerns a word the spectator imprinted in their mind. Details are provided on how to perform the tricks, including using rubber bands to access the inside of the folded paper and having the spectator draw a profile to justify tearing out the center of a page.

EFFECT: A prediction is revealed on the inside of a
securely folded piece of paper.

DD主TY LITTLE SECRET: This is a üttle embelüshment

on a wonder如 I idea from T. A. Waters' "Mind, Myth , &
Magick". The effect is called "Folderoll" and employs a
diaboücal Z-fold to permit you to write on what willlater
be the inside of your prediction. __
By rubberbanding the Z-fold as pictured, you've got
complete access to the backside with your Swami. Also,

fumbting with the rubberbands give you an extra beat or
two to finish your "prediction" and a logical reason to
go south with the gimmick afterwards 臼 you pocket the
rubberbands. 。

upper two-thirds of which were previously written inside
beforehand.
Personally, 1 always perform mental effects in a tongue
in cheek manner, u sing this kind ofbit as an opener to "See
if we're on 由e same page." This üne provides a natural
segue to a book test by taking the "same page" experiment
to tbe next logical, literal step.

EFFECT: You're able to discem a word which a spectator
has just imprinted on their mind.

DIRTY LITTLE SECRET: Here's an idea to help lend

reason and justification to the old center tear. Tbe premise
is tbat you want them to etch a thougbt into tbeir head
一 üterally. 1 suggest 由at drawing a rudimentary, generic
profile of your spectaωr makes a üttle more sense then j ust
asking your spectator to: "Please print something in the
center of this tiny circle so 也at 1 can rip it out later and
read what it says."

you want.
Incidentally, Pope Julius II refused to pay Michelangelo for
