Introduction

In the following works, a few techniques for understanding texts in English will be used.

Before reading: (mental) questions will be asked about what is known about the topic and
what information can be found in this writing, identification of main ideas for the purpose of
your reading. They will also predict what writing goes on.

During reading: all known reading techniques are used, structural identification of writing,
identification of keywords, etc., as well as strategies to deduce words that are not known,
such as through cognates, affixes, etc. Then he reflects on what does such a thing mean?
What was meant based on the author? And finally, the information is sought in the writing.

After reading: it is summed up, draw conclusions, and examine how it can be used this
information in the future.

Development

Obesity is a major social and health issue at a pandemic level. Obesogenic (obesity-
promoting) environments are perceived as a driving force behind the growing obesity
epidemic. Human environments are enormously complex and therefore warrant a
multidisciplinary approach to investigate this concept of obesogenic environments. These
environments, which associate the Environment, have focused on the processes of Health
and disease, about (1) its physical design (the built environment); (2) the rules sociocultural
that govern these environments; and (3) the socioeconomic status of these environments.

Reducing obesity and improving nutrition are high on the public health agenda. Most
research around environmental influences on obesity and physical activity have focused on
adults. Obesity in young people is of great importance. particular concern. Obesity, once it
develops, is difficult to treat, and prevention programs targeting children and adolescents
are considered a high priority, as there is a high risk that obesity will persist into adulthood.
Advertising, marketing, transportation, the designs of food establishments, affect the
prevalence in incidence of associated risk factors so that capitalist populations are
vulnerable to relapse into issues of overweight and obesity, which even to date, they have
been the cause of high mortality due to their metabolic sequelae. Governments should
promote more public policies to help reduce the relative risks of obesogenic environments.

Conclusion

As can be seen, obesity is a major health and social problem, which has reached pandemic
levels. Through obesogenic environments. These environments are associated with the
Environment, which focuses on the processes of Health and disease, about (1) its physical
design (the built environment); (2) the rules Sociocultural that govern these environments;
and (3) the socioeconomic status of these environments. Reducing obesity and improving
nutrition are high on the public health agenda. Therefore, governments should promote more
public policies, to help reduce the relative risks of obesogenic environments.
