Assignment Format:
To be evaluated, each submission must be made in Microsoft Word or PDF document format via Moodle.
Please read the instructions carefully and complete all four sections/parts:
1) Create a weekly reflections journal and write about your learning from your textbook readings on
Chapters 9 to 14 (inclusive). This part of the individual assignment work will prepare you for your
quizzes and the mid-term exam, as your course progresses. Do not copy paste material from the class
slides or content.
You should think/reflect, research, analyze, evaluate, and write your journal in your own words.
Read the required textbook chapters and actively learn about the project management
concepts/topics by thinking and writing about them in your own words based on your reflections and
thoughts on the topics presented in your textbook. Do NOT leave this part until the last minute, perform
this task and part of the assignment regularly on weekly basis in order to be ready and well prepared for
your tests and exam. You may write up to 1 page per Chapter. [40 Marks]
2) Solve the following textbook problems on your own individually, and practice with pen and paper.
Problems: # 9.11, #9.12, #9.13, #9.15, #9.19(a to d), #10.10 #10.11, #10.15, #10.16 , #10.17 [30 marks]
3) Final Project Teamwork - Answer the following questions (150-300 words per question) [20 Marks]
A. What have you contributed to your group project? What are your project responsibilities and tasks?
Provide all details.
B. What were the responsibilities of each of your team member? You should create a table and list the
tasks and show the division of work and roles and responsibilities of each team member.
C. What were the steps that you performed to help your team deliver your project on time and with
quality work? State what you did to achieve both individual and team success.
D. What are your goals and plan to manage your time efficiently, while prioritizing your tasks for this
course and for your final exam?
4) Think about what you have learned from this course. Write about your learnings and let me know how
you can help your future employer with their project work. (400-500 words) [10 Marks]

Meaning you should present/show your answer to problem #9.11 first and #10.17 last and follow the correct
sequence/order.
You may use pen/pencil and paper and then take pictures of your individual work, e.g., diagrams and attach it
to your word document and convert it to PDF for Moodle submission.
IMPORTANT WARNING:
Do not post/upload any of your course confidential material online on cheating websites such as
coursehero, chegg etc etc. violation of this policy can damage your student record even after
grad.
Your digital footprint will be traced and can have severe academic integrity violations
consequences, and failure your course.
Do not send or your course confidential material any other student in current or future terms. If
they share it or post it, I will investigate and it will be very serious integrity violation and you
can get in trouble for graduation and damage to your student record even when you graduate.
For writing your reflections, first you need to read the textbook chapter, summarize on key points or concepts
and what you've learned from the textbook and which you've experienced in your work or life. You can also
write about what you talked with your friend/peer regarding the chapter you both read and what
you discussed, and what were your views and opinion.
Think and reflect if you have observed or applied the topics/concepts in your work or at school. You can also
address the following questions: What information/topic presented in the textbook resonated with you with
respect to your current work or real life? Or you can analyze the topic, and provide your thoughts, views, and
opinion relevant to the topic/concept covered.

There is no right or wrong answer for the reflective writing part of the assignment. However, it is imperative
that students read the textbook and actively learn from it. There is no word limit, you can write one or two
paragraphs for each chapter that you read up to one page per chapter, while writing your reflections. Do not
summarize the lecture slides. The main objective of reflective writing part of the assignment is to get the
students engaged in reading, active learning and thinking.
