The heritage is not complete without celebrating andrecognizing each talent that contributes to the
richness of thelocal culture. In the Philippines, National Arts Month is celebratedevery February to
promote Philippine arts, including music, dance,visual arts, architecture, film, and literature.

According to Dr. Felimon B. Blanco, a renowned arts steward…. You can’t quarantine the artist, “because
they will always find ways to be creative during the pandemic.”

This year’s theme, ”Sining ng Pag-asa,” ay nagbibigay ng bagong liwanag sa bawat isa sa atin that

that life continues in the new normal even with new challenges.

This aims to recognize arts as a source and expression of hope as shown in the creative ways we respond
to the effects of the pandemic, natural calamities, and other social realities, as well as the arts' role in
improving our community life as Filipinos.

“Although the platforms have differed, the message of the seven arts have remained to be steadfast.
Ang ibat ibang uri ng sining are the beacon of hope.

7 arts

1. Literary
2. Music
3. Visual Arts
4. Architecture and Allied arts
5. Dance
6. Dramatic Arts

With these broad scope of our arts…We have all the options on how to cope up with the
challenges, stress brough about by this pandemic.
“I have always believed in the healing power of the arts. 

There are some studies of this claim and im sure naranasan na din natin eto.. that we are in worst point
of our lives, when we are sad, happy, we tend to express these feelings through music, dance, poem,
paintings etc. depende sa interest at skill ng isang tao.

This activity of the school ensures the sustainability of Filipino culture and its an avenue to discover
develop talents, skills of our future artists.

And with this, I salute and acknowledge the initiative of our EPS in MAPEH sir Bendict for guiding all
schools in the implementation of this ARTS MONTH and likewise to the school MAPEH Coordinator for
leading us in the varied activities for our learners and teachers.

The ACTIVITIES PREPARED summarizes the cooperative, consultative and synergetic effort of the whole
community in ensuring that the main thrust ofthe department AND ARTS AND CULTURE will be
inculcated in the hearts and minds of every Filipino learner.
