Applications are invited from suitable candidates having domicile of Gilgit-Baltistan (male/
female) to fill the vacant posts of Assistant Sub-Inspectors (BS-11) in Gilgit-Baltistan Police as
per the following criteria:
i. Minimum Height
For male candidates: 5ft 6in
Physical
1- For female candidates: 5ft 2in
Standards
ii. Chest

• It is Mandatory to bring original applicant’s copy of paid Fee Challan on the test day along
with the Original CNIC OR Original Passport, and the Roll no slip issued by ETC via email
or downloaded/ printed by the candidate from the ETC portal.
• If a candidate has not acquired the CNIC, he/ she must present the B-Form issued by
NADRA along with the original matric or intermediate result card that contains candidate’s
picture as well.
• Failing to produce the said documents, a candidate shall not be allowed to sit in the
Physical/ Endurance Test.
Note: It is Mandatory to bring original applicant’s copy of paid Fee Challan on the test
day along with the Original CNIC/ Original Passport, otherwise the candidate will not
be allowed to sit in the exam.
All the physically eligible candidates shall then register again at the same portal and
will be called to appear in the Written Test, via registered emails/ cell phones
messages, as per the following criteria/ content/ weightages:
The minimum marks required to pass the Written Test (Part-I) shall be 40 out of
the maximum possible marks of 100.
Part-I of the test will be followed by a 20 min break before Part-II.
Part-II (Psychological Assessment/Test – 50 Min)
Psychological Assessment consists of the following five sections:
1- Quantitative analysis based on statements describing candidates’ feelings, attitudes
and beliefs.
2- Incomplete sentence completion.
3- Word association.
4- Story writing
5- Self-description
The Part-II result shall be in the form of Recommended/ NOT Recommended only.
All those candidates who are found eligible to appear for the Written Test, are required to
register again to submit its fee of Rs. 1000/- as well. The fee is to be deposited in the
same account as mentioned above for Step-I. The paid and scanned Fee Challan duly
stamped by the bank is to be uploaded and brought along at the test center for entry just
as done earlier for Step-I. The Written Test day instructions for Step-II shall be followed
as given for Step-I above.
The shortlisted candidates for appointment of ASI, shall undergo a medical examination to be
conducted by the Director, Health Service, Government of Gilgit-Baltistan. Issuance of
appointment order shall be subject to verification of character antecedents of the candidates
and verification of academics and all other relevant documents.
General Instructions/Information:
1. Only the application with status “Submitted” shall be considered for further
correspondence
2. No relaxation in the physical standard i.e., measurement of chest and height shall be
admissible.
3. Applicants are expected to provide correct information.
4. Applicants shall submit an affidavit (on stamp paper) at the time of Interview, about non-
involvement in any criminal case/ activity. In case of false affidavit, the applicants shall be
barred from applying for the subject posts and legal action shall be taken as well.
5. Government employees who meet the eligibility criteria may apply through proper
channel. The departmental NOC shall be required at the interview stage.
6. Verification of character and academic certificates of selected candidates will be
conducted. In case of any bogus/ false information or criminal record, selection shall be
withdrawn/ cancelled immediately, and the candidates shall be discharged/ dismissed
from the service (if found to be so after employment) and legal proceedings will also be
initiated against him /her.
7. Details of Tests will be on the ETC-HEC website.
8. Only the candidates, who qualify Physical/ Endurance criteria and the Written test shall be
eligible for shortlisting and called for interview.
9. At the time of final selection, the candidates will have to go through a complete medical
examination by the medical board of Gilgit-Baltistan Government. During the medical
examination, candidates who have eyesight less than 6/6 will be disqualified for service.
Moreover, the candidates having Hepatitis B&C, drug addiction and any other chronic
ailment/ disability will also be disqualified for service.
10. No TA/ DA shall be admissible.
11. Candidates shall be informed with updates through ETC-HEC website.
