Analysis of horror art

zdzisław beksiński paints/draws everyone’s


nightmare. Basically, his artworks are described
as abstract and surrealist; always having been
rather disturbing, describing scenes of death,
decay, distorted faces, and deformed bodies.
While all his work was rather dark, his initial
work focused on dystopian apocalyptic
landscapes. The name of this artwork is defined
as loss and which I think suits the best with the
painting. In this artwork beksiński used mostly
cool colors such as green and grey. I really like
this artwork as it is exactly the drawing of loss. I
think the purpose of this artwork is to get
everyone’s attention about death.

This is a watercolor painting of what


depression looks like and I think this
describe the best about depression like how
depression can control our thoughts
emotionally. The artist used lots of cool
colors which I think suits the best. I love
everything about this art style, like how this
painting is a narrative art, it shows
depression through the painting. I like how
the artist made the eyes dark as it shows real
emotions. The purpose of this art is about
how depression can hold someone’s thoughts
and can control them.

This artwork is an oil paint, as it has lots of


emotions to it. It is an artwork that depicts the
painting of being trapped and it is scary. The
texture of this art is smooth. Sometimes, life
won’t go in a way that we want to, and this
painting shows that, as the girl is trapped but
she can’t do anything to fight the demons/evils.
The artist used warm colors as it goes well with
the painting and everything is just perfectly
done. I think the purpose of this artwork is that
never give up, fight as long as you can, so that
you can free yourself from the demons/others.

the death and horror themed. This
artwork is full of violence. Caravaggio
chose to focus on the most dramatic
part of the story, the very moment of
the murder. with its expression in real
human bodies built the belief of dark
paintings which lasts to the
contemporary art. This disturbing and
unforgettable painting dealing with
the horror aspects of human existence
and imagination.

This is really interesting piece of art to me as it shows so


many emotions to it. This drawing shows a very scary art
that can freak people out. The artist used lots of cool
colors and I think it matches perfectly with the art.
Everything just makes sense in this art and the thing that
makes it scary is that the fact that the eye is all white and
how there is paint dripping under the mouth as it looks
like a blood. The artist used oil point in this art as it
works the best. In this artwork the artist used quick
brushwork as to impress different kind of emotions
throughout the painting. The mood of this artwork is
scary as it is making me to feel fear. In the face of the girl
there is a mark line which is like a line of strikes and there
is also dripping as it shows blood kind of thing.
