What Is The Difference Between COURTESY and DECISPLINE
What Is The Difference Between COURTESY and DECISPLINE
For my own level of understanding as how I perceived the question. Courtesy means paying
attention to, being respectful of, and being thoughtful about others. It necessitates always being
aware of, attending to, and sensing how other people are, as well as their needs, at any given
time You begin to build attentiveness when you act in a manner that is respectful of others. On
the other hand, one of the fundamental requirements of a civilized life is discipline. Any
institution or organization, including educational institutions, as well as the political, social, and
religious spheres, as well as the streets and even while you are sitting in your own home, require
discipline. Like this, discipline plays a significant role in political and social life. Proper
satisfaction cannot be attained unless everyone abides by the rules and regulations.
We all know that military forces were trained to uphold discipline and embodied a sense of
respect or courtesy amongst people of any status as they abide with the military code of
conduct. Thus, the practice of military courtesy is reciprocal. Officers are supposed to treat
enlisted personnel with respect, and conversely, enlisted personnel are expected to do the same
for officers. Military courtesy is fundamentally based on mutual respect. Military politeness is
the deference that colleagues in the same line of work extend to one another. The hand salute,
standing at attention or parade rest, and even addressing others by their rank are some of the
Army's most typical courtesies. Military members must adhere to discipline because it fosters
character development and fosters teamwork. Without military discipline, soldiers wouldn't be
able to work together as a cohesive unit during missions, drills, and training. Service men are
first taught military discipline in training camps.
Keep your body and mind, both inside and out, clean. Always walk with intention, with your
shoulders back and your gaze up and forward. Smiling, greeting people, and looking for
opportunities to assist others—such as those pushing a stroller or carrying large grocery bags
are all good ways to start. I promise that if you act in this way every day, everywhere you go,
you will see your actions becoming commonplace among people in your community. We are
aware that discipline is the application of rules, order, control, and authority to behavior. On the
other side, courtesy is just another word for respect, and when you recognize and practice it,
you start to maintain a good attitude on life. Civilians should maintain discipline in all spheres of
life by showing consideration for others and adhering to directives from the highest authority
and that is how discipline and respect takes place.
4. What is the difference between punctuality and promptness? And what is its importance to you
as students?
Punctuality and promptness are synonymous terms. When used as nouns, promptness and
punctuality differ in that promptness refers to the practice of performing tasks without delay
and punctuality to the quality of being on time. Being on time is the definition of punctuality.
not just for others, but also for yourself. In other words, being prompt includes submitting work
on time and organizing your work in addition to being on time for meetings and lectures. Being
on time has long been a part of academic instruction. Have you ever been late to school and had
to wait outside the doors for authorization to enter? Well, if you had been on time, you
wouldn't have had to deal with that situation. This is where being on time is first introduced to
us, and even if you were allowed in, you might have to go to the principal's office to explain why
you were late. Thus, as a student being punctual, or promptness should be executed to mitigate
consequences and it is also considered a form of discipline as you are being strict of your time
management and make good use of time.
Without cooperation, society would not be possible. Only by collective action will humans be
able to survive. Humans work together to create society, and it is only in society that the human
body truly becomes human. One of the most frequently taught skills is cooperation. We learn at
a young age that "together we stand, divided we fall," and that cooperation involves working
together to accomplish a shared objective. This refers to a positive work environment where
staff members collaborate to meet their individual and collective goals. Children's lives must be
taught the value of cooperation during their education. One of the most crucial lessons a
youngster should ever learn is this. If not, the child will become socially alienated and exhibit
poor cooperation with his own children.
6. What is meant by being patriotic and loyal with regards to respecting that gives great symbolism
to the Philippines.
Even though it is frequently stated that patriotism these days is "more words than actions,"
many
Filipinos, both young and old, nevertheless hold it dear in their hearts and minds. Consider the
people who are overseas. Most of them are genuinely patriotic Filipinos. This is apparent from
their demeanor and how they greet other nationals. Like the Mindanao people, who are quite
vocal about how much they love the region, the nation, and the flag and would give their lives in
defense of them. There may not be much discussion on our streets regarding the ongoing
conflict with China over the West Philippine Sea. However, it can be as a result of the populace's
ignorance and lack of comprehension of the problem. Maybe it's about time we made some
"noise" and banded together to demonstrate our support for our nation in a patriotic act. We
may perhaps start by choosing to buy Filipino goods over imported goods, especially those from
China. It is among the best methods to demonstrate national solidarity and unity.
7. How can your courage and bravery make an essential effect to you as a filipino?
Being courageous is a highly regarded trait, and over time, many well-known and esteemed
individuals have talked or written about it. Most likely, we all have a general understanding of
what courage, or bravery, as it is sometimes called, is. I discovered that having courage meant
overcoming fear rather than not having any. The brave guy is not the one who feels no fear, but
the one who overcomes that fear. Being brave usually makes us feel good since it requires
emotional control. We can infer that courage is a particularly human behavior from the fact that
we value it so highly. We can also achieve "good" things through having courage, defined as
acting in a way that responds to risk correctly rather than overconfidently or cowardly.
Additionally, courage enables us to confront individuals who pose a threat or behave badly. As a
result, I urge all Filipinos to overcome their worries and maintain their resolve in any challenging
circumstances.
