SEMI DETAILED LESSON PLAN

I. OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, students will be able to:


a. Understand the Verbal communication,
b. Appreciate the use of Verbal communication, and;
c. Demonstrate the Verbal communication

III. PROCEDURE:

A. Activities:
 Classroom Management, Prayer, checking of
attendance, others
 Review of the previous lesson.
 Motivation/activation-
o Showing/presenting audio visual video/s
o Raising questions related to the given
video/s to allow them think critically and
may able them to cultivate prior
knowledge and be mentally prepared for
the lesson.

 Presentation
o Present the topic
o Ask question related to the topic to measure
how far they know with regards to verbal
communication

B. Analysis
 Introduce the topic of the day
(Verbal Communication)
 Let the students per group to give their own
opinion/ideas of the video/s presented
 Teacher will show the meaning of Verbal
communication and let students identify what
Verbal communication mean?
 Let the group give one (1) example of verbal
communication
 Follow up questions with the activity they had
 Ask per group about what they had observed.
C. Abstraction:
 Explain and expound the Verbal communication
 Provide examples of the Verbal communication
which they are familiar and are common to them.

D. Application:
Direction: In four groups, your are going to
perform a
“Message Relay” to test your listening skills.
Given a set of
sentences, you are going to relay it until to the
last member
of your group. (3mins)

Give at least 5 examples of Verbal
communication.

V. ASSIGNMENT

Create a short video, a friendly
