Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Diesel Generator & Accessories as
per specification.
Supply, installation, testing & commissioning Silent DG Set with 3 Phase Alternator
complete with standard accessories including Base plate, base fuel tank, The Sound
proof enclosure is special sheet metal fabricated on C N C machine and powder
coated 1.6mm thickness.
Battery with leads, Silencer exhaust piping etc complete as required below and
approval of Client /Consultant with associated items / accessories as mentioned
below:
The Enclosure, fabricated from high quality sheet steel of minimum 2 mm thickness
finished with powder coating shall be of weather proof construction, designed at
insertion loss of 25dB (As per As per ISO-8528 Part-10 and latest CPCB regulations).
The enclosure shall be provided with a forced ventilation system to restrict the
temperature rise within the enclosure to permissible limits.
Over voltage, under voltage Reverse power, Under frequency, Over speed relay (over No.s 7 1,50,00,000.00 10,50,00,000.00
frequency), IDMT O/C relay is to be incorporated in the PLC Panel along with Alarm
Annunciator and Status Indication for protection (refer specification).
Liasoning work for getting approvals from Supply Company, Electrical Inspector,
Pollution Control board as required.

Diesel Generating set with sound proof enclosure of capacity 2000KVA Sound
Attenuated DG set comprising of continuous rating, 3 phase, 415 volts, 50 cycles A.C.
supply, Radiator cooled Type.

The engine shall be provided with electrical starting arrangement & shall give the
electrical output of 2000KVA at 0.8 power factor, 415 V at the alternator terminal,
anti vibration isolators, first fill of diesel, lube oil, Flywheel with guard, Air cleaner,
Blower fan, Mechanical governor, Fuel and lube oil filters and pumps, Residential
silencer, Batteries & Batteries charger, Safety controls, Instrument panel, Water
pump, Fuel tank of capacity 990 liters with visual level indicators etc.
B Exhaust System
Supply, Installation, testing & Commissioning of exhaust piping complete with
exhaust pipe, fibre glass insulation with aluminium cladding, pipe accessories like
flanges, bends, elbows, rain protection hoods, etc. The exhaust piping shall be fixed
from floor with MS angle supports, using necessary clamps, anchorbolts, vibration
isolation pads, etc., as per the manufacturer's standard installation Pratice or as per
Site Engineer Recommandation. Pipe size shall be suitable for 380 KVA Diesel
generator set.
Exhaust pipe 5# Upto 600 mm dia 5 mm thick Ms pipe with all necessary fittings. -

cladding. .The insulation thickness shall be as per standard to achieve a maximum

The electrode shall be buried as far as practicable below


permanent moisture level but, in any case, not less than 3 meters below ground level
(however the contractor has to install the earthing electrode as per site condition to
achieve earth resistance as required). Wherever possible, earth electrodes shall be
located as near the water tap, water drain or near down take pipe. Earth electrodes
shall not be installed in proximity to a metal fence. It shall be kept clear of the
buildings foundations and in no case it shall be nearer than 2 meters from the outer
face of the wall.

the installation. Any other activity / NOC from local Muncipal Authorities or Pollution
Board (if any) / Any Certificates approval related to the scope of this tenderer.
Submission of required Test Reports to E. I. / Suppply Company. (Contractor shall pay
statutory fees of liaison & this shall be reimbursed from client after submitting
receipts).
