government agencies and companies like GM Financials, Wyndham Worldwide, Western
Digital, Otis, Entergy, AECOM, Kroger, Turkish IsBank, SunTrust Bank, Sally Beauty, Hertz,
Akamai, LifeCell, etc.
Cloud projects: OCI infrastructure architecture design for EBS, DenseIO shape in different
fault domains for RAC DB, subnets and network security configurations, IDCS authentication
with Microsoft ADFS. Terraform for IaC. Migrations with Transportable Tablespace and
GolderGate. Configured Oracle databases and security on Oracle DBaaS database cloud
service. Worked as a liaison between application team and Oracle/IBM cloud teams for
integration management. Security evaluation for applications on Oracle cloud.
SSO and security projects: Implemented SSO in EBS, OBIEE and Hyperion with federated
ADFS authentication for 25,000 users. Used OAM orchestration for Intranet/Internet users,
authenticated employees on ADFS and non-employees on OUD. Configured OPM cloud
SSO for ADFS. OUD/EUS implementation for database centralized authentication. Analyzed
the security settings for 10g, 11g and 12c databases to tighten the database security.
Implemented OAM/OID SSO after EBS upgrade.
Performance projects: Modified ExaData database and RAC configurations to make a 3-4
hours long running report to complete in 12 minutes. Improved key upgrade steps running
time from 48 hours to 23 hours. Resolved EBS and FMW/WebLogic performance issues for
several projects in tight schedules.
Data center design project: Data center migration and new architecture high level design in a
big financial institution for EBS, FMW, Oracle database RAC and DataGuard, MS SQL
Servers Always On Cluster. Coordinated with OS, storage, security and other teams for
active/active architecture when using two production data centers 10 kilometers apart.
Other projects: EBS infrastructure architecture design and assessment, sizing servers and
storage with multiple apps and RAC DB servers, FMW SOA/OSB and ODI architecture
design, domain selection and support for enterprise integrations. DMZ, Active DataGuard, HA
and DR design, configurations and testing. Implemented applications on ExaData and
ExaLogic Servers. Migrated EBS R12 from Solaris, AIX to Linux, upgraded OS, DB,
clusterware, ASM and applications. Setup TDE column encryption. R12 maintenance,
patching and clones with data masking. RMAN backup and Unix shell scripts. Designed
instance strategies. Worked with developers to migrate RICE objects. Using ETL tools to
transfer data. OEM 12c implementation for DB and application monitoring. Troubleshot all the
technical issues and root course analysis for Oracle applications and Oracle databases. Led
infrastructure team of DBAs to make sure all the installations and configurations followed
Oracle best practice standard.
