The International loadline disc is located at frame 18. \Peter Tsang page 3GLOBAL INDUSTRIES, LTD. “CB-6" ON. 1048400 1211196 “300"*100"*i8" DECK BARGE” SMI_HULL_183 RATING RESTRIM iS / INSTRUCTIONS. 1. Itis the responsibility of the operating personnel to ensure a satisfactory stability condition at all times, 2. Secure deck cargo to prevent possible shifts, from motions in the offshore waters. The maximum height of deck cargo is to be restricted to 90 feet above the deck. 3. The vessel is permitted to load ballast in-port for the load-out operations, using shore facilities, with the selected compartment manholes opened. 4. The number of stack tanks to be kept to a minimum for the in-port ballasting operations necessary for the equipment load-out conditions. Ballasting to be conducted with proper ballasting sequence. 5. To enhance the temporary ballast operation, tank capacity calibration is prepared and free surface tested. The KG of the loaded barge to be escalated by the free surface effect to within the Allowable KG limit. 6. Inall loading conditions, the KG values (with applicable free-surface effects) to be within the valugs of the Allowable KG.curve plotted against the draft of the vessel (Cond deck carga VEG 7. The vessel should be maintained upright with little list. The cause of the list to be determined before taking action to correct the problem 8. The subdivision bulkheads are at frames 3, 9, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35. The barge is also longitudinally subdivided by two longitudinal bulkheads at 20 ft off center-line. 9. All water-tight hull compartment sealing manholes to be closed at all times 10. When the manholes are opened for examination and for in-port ballasting and deballasting, these must be secured before departure off the sheltered port area. 11. The assigned load line is at molded mean draft of 13 feet 10-3/8 inches at the ‘Summer mark, equivalent to a full draft of 13 feet 11 inches. 12, Trim to be minimized in the operating conditions. Significant trim is unfavorable, especially when operating near the assigned load line. 13, The barge is painted with draft marks in Arabic numbers, in the following positions Stem draft marks at frame 3, at 24 fi. from bow, port and starboard. Bow draft marks at frame 35, at 280 ft from bow, port and starboard. Drafts observed from the vessel's marks are from the underside of the keel (5/8") 14, All tons refer to in this stability manual are long tons (L.tons) of 2240 pounds. Information in this stability manual, is sufficient to perform an arithmetic assessment of the vessels condition in compliance to the stability criteria. Compartment capacity data file may also be used in the temporary ballasting and dewatering operation, 2. Prepare a simple loading table in the format as the computed conditions, except that only the weight and moment evaluation is needed. Verify that the deck cargo envelope of 90 feet has not been exceeded Enter deck cargo weight and centers, then multiply for moments. Sum up for totals. Enter temporary ballast if applied in port. Enter the maximum fsm data and sum up. Add weight and moments with the lightship data to arrive at the vessel’s condition. Transfer the free surface moments to the vertical moment and obtain vessel KG.
