This document describes the key process steps in a typical LNG production model, including:
1) Acid gas removal and dehydration to remove corrosive compounds like H2S and CO2.
2) A pre-cooling section that uses a series of coolers to lower the temperature of the natural gas stream and refrigerant.
3) An LNG production section where the natural gas is liquefied using a mixed refrigerant as the cooling fluid in an LNG exchanger.
4) A compressor train section that increases the pressure of the refrigerant before it can be reused in the pre-cooling section.

Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) are applied as a fuel for
motor vehicle, resedential use, and for industrial consumption
A typical LNG production model includes the following
process area: 1. Acid gas removal and dehydration section 2. Propane refrigerant pre-cooling section 3. Compression Section 4. Final LNG production section

Define Properties Environment Natural gas is composed primarily of methane (>70%), ethane, propane, and others hydrocarbon.
Property package that could be utilized in LNG process
modelling are Peng-Robinson, SRK, and PRSV. But in this case Peng-Robinson equation of state will be used.

Water Saturation Natural Gas Feed in this case is a dry basis stream so it should be saturated with a Water Saturator.
For this case, the Water Saturator is automatically
calculate the water needed for saturate the feed stream and it need 667,9 Kg/h.
The configuration for this saturator is like this:

Acid Gas Removal and Dehydration Acid gas removal aims to remove acid gases such as H2S and CO2 so that natural gas will less corrosive. Dehydration is used for avoiding hydrates formation along the equipment that can cause clog in piping and equipment. For this section, Component Splitter is used for the acid gas removal and dehydration process

Pre-Cooling Section The natural gas then will be fed to a Pre-cooling train. This train will be modeled as a series of cooler operation to lower the temperature of the stream The another cooling train also created to handle the mixed refrigerant. These refrigerant will be used for generate the LNG product.
Based on the calculation of the cooler,
the total energy removed for lower the temperature of natural gas is 6.14E+007 Kj/h the total energy removed for lower the temperature of mixed refrigerant is 3.63E+008 Kj/h

LNG Production Section Natural gas is ready for conversion to liquefied natural gas (LNG). Mixed refrigerant will be utilized as the cooling fluid for the natural gas stream The heat transfer operation will be occured in LNG Exchanger
This section consists of several tools like separator, LNG
exchanger, mixer, and valve Refrigerant that has been used in the process will be returned to the compressor train section

Compressor Train Section Refrigerant that leaves the LNG production section will at low pressure condition, it needs to be boosted up to high pressure before it can be used again in Pre-cooling section This section will use three compressors to increase the refrigerant pressure periodically
This section is also equipped with a compression
aftercoolers to control refrigerant temperature.
The total duties needed for increasing the refrigerant
pressure are 4.21E+008 Kj/h

LNG Process Modelling These are the overall process of the LNG Production. This model is use the sub-flowsheet in HYSYS so that the flowsheet is become simplier.
Based on calculation from this model, the production rate
of LNG is 97.72%
