 euel Orok, a 30-year-old pilot from southern Nigeria,

D had his exciting life and promising career upended

in November 2021, when a simple appendectomy
was followed by several startling complications. The
subsequent events altered his life in unimaginable ways.

“After the surgery, I woke up and realized I was still in pain.

A day after, my abdomen began to swell, to the point where
it seemed it would burst. I needed an operation to drain
almost four gallons of fluid from my stomach. In another
two days, the swelling started again,” Deuel says.

Within a week, Deuel had four surgeries but the issues

continued, so he was transferred to a teaching hospital. His
new doctors discovered that his intestines were perforated
and this had caused an infection. He was diagnosed with
abdominal abscess and gastrointestinal fistulas. “Because
of the holes in my intestines, I was operated on again, and
50 percent of my intestines were taken out,” he narrates.

he asserts. “For months, I lived on medications every day. Since I left the
hospital, I haven’t taken any drugs. I can climb the stairs now. I can stand
without help and my hair is growing again. No more pain. I am seeing new
changes every day.”

went viral. But God used that news, so that when the miracle happened

A SUDDEN TRANSFORMATION
I was in church one Sunday when I got a message from my sister that my dad had been rushed to the hospital
because he had issues with his breathing. I told my leader and we prayed together, declaring healing and
health for his body. Then, I took a copy of the Healing to the Nations Magazine and went to see him. When I got
there, I placed the magazine on my dad as I spoke God’s Word. At that moment, his breathing normalized, his
temperature dropped, and all his vital signs were okay. The doctor was amazed at the sudden transformation.
No further treatment was needed but the doctor insisted that my dad should stay overnight for observation. He
