WHAT IS AN EVENT?
Anything that occurs, especially if it is significant. It might be a
scheduled public or social event. An event can be a wedding
reception, an office party, a fashion show, a conference, a
product launch, a sporting event, a rock concert, an exhibition, or
a seminar, among other things...

if you have a security strategy in place.

NO. 3
NO. 4
In the event that any unforeseen events arise, you will have an
emergency crew ready to manage the issue..
FOOD SAFETY
Ignoring to take food safety into consideration can quickly spoil
the entire ceremony, it can turn a joyous event into a disaster. So
issues like these should be taken care of:
A contaminated food leading to food poision
Area where food is being prepared ( the ceiling and walls are
clean or not)
CROWD CONTROL
Crowd control is a public security approach that involves
managing big crowds to prevent crowd crushes, affrays,
confrontations e.tc. In big events like wedding ceremonies, crowd
management is much needed. Issues like these needs a proper
crowd management plan:-
Lack of suitable entrances and exits
Surging and swaying leading to crushing between people and
against fixed structure
Congestion at entrances and exits due to stalls and
concessions obstructing crowd movement.
Wedding Hall not booked according to the number of guests.
EMERGENCIES
Health emergency
Fire Hazards
Electrical short circuit
These kinds of emergencies occur accidentally, so we have to be
prepared in advance. What if somebody needs immediate medical
assistance? or maybe somebody needs any small injury or illness?
.
THEFT& ROBBERY
There are many cases registered for theft in the wedding
ceremonies. Theft and robbery are unpredictable cases in the
wedding events as there are different kinds of people visiting the
ceremony, so it's hard to guess or suspect a particular person.
They can either rob the expensive gifts of the bride and groom or
they can rob the guests, so it's a big issue and addressing the
same needs proper planning.
ALCOHOLISM
Alcohol has become a common guest at most occasions – as a
means of celebrating, but an open bar can easily lead to some
sticky situations. Drinking excessively in weddings can be a serious
issue as people are unaware of their actions while they are drunk
and it can hamper the vibe of the event or they could even harm
themselves unknowingly.
SANITISATION
A wedding deals with a lot of food. Food is also one of the main
attractions of a wedding. But there is always a risk of food
posioning or allergies as discussed above. So to tacke that, it is
important to make sure there is enough of hand-washing facilities
and hand-wipes. One can't assume everyone's hands are clean,
which puts your event at risk when it comes to things like
distributing tiny plates at the opening reception. Disinfection of
eating station also becomes a responsibility.
SIGNAGE
A wedding is a place where there can be a huge crowd and it is
difficult to manage a lot of people. The inside- out of the venues
can be quite complicated sometimes and managing a crowd
through that can be tricky. Plus there is always risks of fire or
even a possible stampede. In that case signage is fundamental.
Some of the most important signage include boards indicating
emergenecy exits, restrooms/ washrooms, designated smoking
ares, sitting areas etc.
THEFT PREVENTION
Weddings are multi day outdoor events with a lot people which
posses a theft risk. In such cases recovery rates are quite low so a
prevention plan is important. CCTVs play a major role in theft
prevention so they need to be everywhere. Attendees should also
be informed of the possible risk and should be made responsible
for their own valuables. The wedding should also be secured, the
best way to do that is security guards. Valuable items espicially
wedding gifts can be kept in separate lockers.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Too many drinks in a Wedding is very much possible. This can lead
to antisocial or aggresive behavior and sometimes can lead to
health issues. In that case setablishing a code of conduct is
necessary. Planners can control the supply and hours of Alcohol. It
is also advisable to have a doctor or an hospital on reach just in
case a situation escalates in to something harmful.
