Austo Motor Company is a leading car manufacturer specializing in SUV,
Sedan, and Hatchback models. In its recent board meeting, concerns were
raised by the members on the efficiency of the marketing campaign currently
being used. The board decides to rope in an analytics professional to improve
the existing campaign.
1. You as an analyst have been tasked with performing a thorough
analysis of the data and coming up with insights to improve the
marketing campaign.

This case study will focus on how we can approach towords making decisions with respect to
marketing campaign from Austo Motor Company.

14 variables pertaining do customer characteristics, salary, partner details, loans, education

Dependent variables: there can be a couple of dependent variables from this data set I
found Make and Price are two of the variables that can be considered as dependent variable
based on task at hand.
A. What is the important technical information about the dataset that a database
administrator would be interested in? (Hint: Information about the size of the dataset and
the nature of the variables).
B. Take a critical look at the data and do a preliminary analysis of the variables. Do a quality
check of the data so that the variables are consistent. Are there any discrepancies present
in the data? If yes, perform preliminary treatment of data.
Gender and Partner Salary are having null values and need to replaced it.
No of dependents and Total salary are having Outliers and treated it.
C. Explore all the features of the data separately by using appropriate visualizations and draw
insights that can be utilized by the business.
Insights: 20-38 Years of Age are buying cars with the price of 18000 to 50000, who has 2-3
Dependents. These Customers are having higher salary range from 50000 to 80000, where
Total Salary Ranging from 55000 to 100000 and partner salary is ranging from 0-8000 max.
D. Understanding the relationships among the variables in the dataset is crucial for every
analytical project. Perform analysis on the data fields to gain deeper insights. Comment on
your understanding of the data.

H. H. The main objective of this analysis is to devise an improved marketing strategy to send
targeted information to different groups of potential buyers present in the data. For the
current analysis use the Gender and Marital_status - fields to arrive at groups with similar
purchase history.
Problem 2:
The first important variable is the 'Occupation at Source' of the customer. This is because
the bank can target customers of different age groups with different products and services.
For example, younger customers, Housewifes, may be more interested in products like
credit cards and personal loans, while salaried, Self employed customers may be more
interested in products like savings accounts and investment products.
The second important variable is the 'card type' of the customer. This is because the bank
can target male and female customers differently with different offers on Credit cards. For
example, salaried customers may be more interested in Cashback and rewards.
The Third important variable is the 'Annual_Income' of the customer. This is because the
bank can target customers who has more annual income and deice to give more cc Limit.
Thus Customer buy and spend ore on cc.
The fourth important variable is the 'CC_limit' of the customer. This is because the bank can
target customers who’s cc limit is finished and if given more limit, they tend to spend more.
The Fifth important variable is the ' other_bank_cc_holding' of the customer. This is because
the bank can target more of customers who do not have other bank credit card. For
example, Customers who do not have credit card from any of the bank, can easily accept to
have 1 credit card and use it.
