What is contemporary inspiration in Christianity and the difference between traditional
and contemporary worship? Contemporary inspiration talks about the key influence contained in many religions. It is still taking place on this generation. There were particular ones who were believed to be inspired figures like Jesus, Moses, Confucius, Buddha. They believed to have experiences with encounters with God which were called as divine inspirations. Thus, the Christian community has widened their size in some Asian countries so there’s a bigger challenge to the traditional dominance of Western Christianity. Traditional is different from Contemporary worship because Traditional were rooted from the teachings of Jesus, what the Jewish people first introduced it and had spread until came to Romans. Contemporary worship on the other hand reveals a great challenge to the traditional way of Christians brought by the Western countries. Contemporary showcased the diverse ways of worships with a variety of churches made like Protestants.
2. How should I live my life based on what I have read?
It is true that there are many churches made as the modern days come however if you are baptized as a Roman Catholic be sure to live with it, we have our ways to strengthen our faith and connection to God, let our church guide us and help us establish a life closer to God. There is no perfect religion that will surely and precisely say that these are the only people who would enter heaven, different churches, different doctrines to follow. To follow God, is to be good to all mankind, for us to love one another and that is how we should live our lives. It is a matter of respect.
3. What basic principles do all of the religions have in common? Why?
Respect for Human dignity – all religions even though having differences, must learn to consider each one of us as equal. There should be no discrimination wherever races and ethnicity you belong to. It Is the fundamental principle of religion. Respect for freedom- since all religions have their own doctrines, belief and practices we should all practice letting on another show their own ways and we must respect them if they show they are different than us. Let them be free to express their own faith. May it be Muslims, Hinduism, Buddhism or Roman Catholic, there should be freedom for everyone, but we must not overtake that freedom if were respecting others. Let’s be mindful of our actions as well. Respect for freedom of religion – Anywhere you are in a specific religion is not brought by a force, it should be your personal choice. If the person wanted to stay, then it should have come to her naturally, the commitment is freely chosen by her because she felt it inside, because she wanted it and everyone must know this particularly the religious leaders.
