Price ladder course

Price trading very slow at top of volume range

Auctioning speed picks up at bottom of volume range - chances of move down are
high

Market velocity chart:

Large Orders

Large order that's been on the book for more time is more likely genuine

Common during big news

When large order appears on bid side, place order one tick above, looking for a
quick scalp - buyers usually place orders in front of large order

Large order wasn't hit, disappeared, new large order placed higher, repeat process:
When large order starts to be bought - sell market and place buy orders several ticks
away for quick scalp

Popped immediately after order was taken out

After large order is filled, place bids (.25-.30) around same price as previous hit and
run target, market is absorbing those prices, target back to same price large order
was filled (.35)
Absorption - Iceberg Orders
High order speed but price not moving - clue

When order speed slows down, other side of iceberg is exhausted, sign that iceberg
has won

Place offers at and around iceberg (reloading) price, target a few ticks towards other
side each time. Can do this as long as reloading continues

Place bids at iceberg and one price below, scalp a few points each time

Look for exhaustion on other side of iceberg

Reloading of offer at HOD, auction starts to slow down, price moves down

False offer/bid block

One side of ladder twice the size as the other

Notice all orders being pulled quickly, only small fraction of size is traded

this causes price movement in opposite direction of spoofer

wait for orders to stop getting pulled, two way exchange, absorption, iceberg on
spoofer side

enter on spoofer side in absorption zone, target back through area that was pulled
Flipper
Low liquidity conditions

Large anomaly offer/bid appears, other side is reloading- enter on other side for
quick scalp

large order will disappear after iceberg is gone and price will move to other side
Reversal - stop hunter

Stops hit, price blows down 20 ticks, absorbed/rejected 454 volume node, instantly
popped back up - reversal clue

Enter the bid just above node

Momentum Strategies
Order flow shifts from congestion to expansion - ripple - find trigger point

Sold off aggressively toward key level (bottom line), left 2 low volume areas - signal
for momentum play

big auction just below low volume zone - enter

Sells off, leaves more low volume zones

Shift from congestion to expansion - ride with stops

Place offer where stops should be for breakout

Place bids below to exit

Look for aggressive increasing order flow when approaching key level

Place bids before breakout level when speed of orders increases towards key level

After breakout, place more bids right above newly formed low volume area:
stop loss at low of lva
