%0%.3.4PIPING DIAGRAM
The Deck Machinery shall be connected to a centralized Hydraulic Power Unit supplied by other maker.
The shipyard is responsible to inform Pusnes about the system pressure. The shipyard should also inform
the maker of the Hydraulic Power Unit Pusnes requirements to minimum oil flow in order to meet
shipyards capacity requirements.
Isolation valves
A set of isolation valves (close-off/non-return) for installation in the branch line in front of each winch shall
be provided. The material of the isolation valves is stainless steel (AISI316).
%0%.3.4.2Information
%0%.3.4.2.1Hydraulic system
The hydraulic system is based on a ring main system with the following pressure characteristics:
Design working pressure, P-line : 250 bar (Actual pressure to be
confirmed by yard)
Safety valve setting pressure : 270 bar
Design working pressure, T-line : 10 bar
%0%.3.4.2.2Piping
The shipyard is responsible for all pipe work/installation including calculation of pipe wall thickness and
material. For recommendations on pipe installation, please refer to “PUSNES INSTRUCTIONS /
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR INSTALLATION AND STARTING UP”, PS 8104. Pusnes shall inform the
yard the minimum inner pipe diameters in order to meet our requirement to oil flow.
