A Literature Survey On Internet of Things Based Flood Detection and Monitoring System Using Raspberry Pi

This document summarizes a research paper on an Internet of Things (IoT) based flood detection and monitoring system using Raspberry Pi. The system uses sensors to monitor water levels and other environmental conditions near bodies of water. If flooding is detected, alerts are sent in real-time over the Internet to notify authorities and people in affected areas. The system aims to provide early warnings to reduce losses during floods. It was tested in flood-prone areas of Bangladesh and found to more accurately detect flooding compared to existing systems. The paper reviews several related works on IoT-based water monitoring and flood alert systems using wireless sensor networks.
