The purpose of this document is to explain what the ACCA Competency Framework
is and how it can be used.
The Framework is used by ACCA to develop its qualification in line with the emerging
needs of business and other stakeholders.
It can also be used by employers to inform and complement their policies, procedures
and practices with regard to the recruitment, training and development of finance
and accounting personnel.
