shareholders’ value through strategic mergers.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research Methodology is the fundamental framework that offers recommendations
for the rest of the research process and a methodical approach to solving the research topic. It
serves as a road plan or blueprint for how the research will be carried out. The following is
the specific research technique for the current study;

1. RESEARCH OBJECTIVE
2. RESEARCH DESIGN

 RESEARCH OBJECTIVE :
Our primary goal was to determine whether or not
customers were satisfied with their accounts. The biggest issue was with how they
used the banking services. Which areas of the bank require improvement. The
accountholder is happy with the bank's assistance. A thorough preparation process
was required to gather all the information, therefore I first began with
1. Are they happy with their bank.
2. Which channel they use
3. What kind of other product they use
4. Area of improvement

 RESEARCH DESIGN:
The fundamental structure that establishes rules
for the rest of the research process is research design. It outlines the procedures for gathering
and analysing data. We used the survey method, or more specifically, the questionnaire
approach, to gather information for this scientific study endeavour.
We surveyed people in Ahmedabad. 200 people make up our sample. To get the data,
respondents from the sample size were requested to complete the questionnaire.
The Marketing Research Process

As marketing research could be a systemic and formalized process, it follows a specific

sequence of research action. The marketing process has the following steps:

Formulating the issues:

 Developing objectives of the research

 Designing an good research plan

 Data collection techniques

 Evaluating the information and preparing a research report

There are two varieties of data collection method use in my project report.
1. Primary data

2. Secondary data.

 In our live project, we decided primary data collection method because our
study nature doesn’t permit to use observational method. In survey approach
we had selected a questionnaire method for taking a customer view because
it’s feasible from the purpose of view of our subject & survey purpose. We
conducted 200 sample of survey in our project.
LIMITATION

Due to time restrictions, the study couldn't be made as thorough as it

may have been. Some clients find it awkward to disclose some personal details, such
as their income.

 Bank Time Restrictions

 People are still unaware of Kotak Mahindra's other products.

 The corporation doesn't have a well-known brand in the rural market.

 The business doesn't invest much in marketing initiatives.

 The middle class and rural markets in India still lack faith in private banks and
their sincerity.

To maintain a competitive edge with these businesses in terms of gaining market

shares would be a challenging undertaking given that the Kotak Mahindra Bank
competes with private corporations that spend enormous sums on marketing

WORK DONE AND LEARNING FROM
SIP
WORK DONE AND LEARNINF FROM SIP

The summer training is extremely important to the development of my inner abilities. My 60-
day SIP experience at Kotak Mahindra Bank was extremely educational and helpful. Being a
part of a company with so many seasoned personnel has been a brand-new experience for me.
My project effort centred on understanding how banking operates and attracts clients.

KEY INFORMATION:

• My mentor gave me a brief overview of the banking industry on the first day.

• Kotak Mahindra Bank offers interest on current accounts, which sets them apart from their
rivals.

• I gained knowledge in a variety of areas, including research and communication, problem-

solving, analytical, and quantitative skills.

• To understand the customer preference bank, we used the survey method.

RECOMMENDATION
RECOMMENDATIONS

After working in the banking industry for a short while and observing consumer
reactions. With the help of this analysis, I can confidently state that the bank has a
great deal of potential to perform well in the future. I would like to provide the
following recommendations:-

The business should pay more/closer attention to customer satisfaction because it can
help them develop positive relationships with customers that will eventually make
them more profitable.

The business should also monitor the strategies of its rivals and occasionally make
any adjustments that are necessary.

In such a cutthroat competition, the bank must persist in reducing the time between
steps and superfluous formalities to expedite the procedures.

Banks can use the franchise idea to concentrate on a particular market.

CONCULUSION
CONCLUSION

The majority of direct banking services are provided gratis by Kotak Mahindra Bank.

The majority of Kotak Mahindra Bank's clients are happy with the institution's direct banking
service.

Out of all the direct banking options, net banking is used by the majority of Kotak clients.

The majority of customers who have accounts with multiple banks use direct banking
channels to access information about their accounts, including account status.

The majority of male consumers are afraid of utilising different direct banking channels
improperly, whereas female customers are afraid of their accounts being hacked while using
direct banking channels.

I also draw the conclusion from the data that people between the ages of 20 and 30 find direct
banking convenient.
