Sunshine Recorder

The Campbell-Stokes sunshine recorder measures bright sunshine duration using cards that burn linearly when exposed to sunlight focused through a glass sphere. Short curve cards are used from October to February, straight cards from March to April and September to October, and long curve cards from April to September.
