About Us At ARTPARK, we believe in bringing Industry,

ARTPARK (AI & Robotics Technology Park) is a one-of-its-kind, not-for-profit (section-8) foundation promoted by the academia and government together to leverage AI &

Message from the CEO

ARTPARK we are building the future with an inclusive AI & Robotics revolution. The next 15
years are going to be pivotal for India because of two major reasons, one, its demographic
potential is peaking and the second, it is timing well with the global computing explosion
with lowering of costs.

We have 3 D’s working for us, we have the “Data”, we have the “Desperation” to leapfrog and
the “Determined” talent like yourself to make the leap towards a $10tn Technology. At
ARTPARK, we try to bring all the D’s together.

Our true north at ARTPARK is consisting of 3 key objectives,

Advance Air Mobility for Healthcare

“42000 people die each day in India because emergency services aren’t able to reach the patients. With more than 0.65mn villages, out of which 40% don’t have all weather connectivity,
problem is really severe in rural India. We aim to develop an air ambulance that can fly within an operating range of 50-100 km, is operationally economical, have a low noise signature, and
is certified with the highest airworthiness standards for use in healthcare emergencies, rescue missions and casualty evacuation. The air ambulance is planned to be equipped with state-
of-the-art emergency care delivery systems for patient stabilization, resuscitation, monitoring and audio/video telecommunication with a healthcare specialist.

While the development of an air ambulance in key technology areas is done in a collaborative manner with participation from Industry, Startups, Government and Academia, this
collaboration will also help in the creation of airspace and unmanned traffic management communication standards, development of vertiport infrastructure, Policy maturity and
technology breakthroughs in the area of electric propulsion, advanced materials, communication and display technologies, Internet of Things, etc.”

Project milestone - ARTPARK Ecosystem

Launch of XraySetu
XraySetu is AI driven X-ray interpretation for quick and rapid assessment of lung health via WhatsApp chatbot built for doctors. AI
researchers at ARTPARK In collaboration with HealthTech startup Niramai Health Analytix and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), have
developed XraySetu. XraySetu takes a few seconds to interpret Chest X-rays with 98.86 % sensitivity towards COVID-19.

Avtaar Robotics
As a part of Avtaar Robotics, ARTPARK is currently working on the emotive robotic nurse ‘Asha’ that captures the skills of a human nurse
remotely. With the use of 5G and Wifi 6, we can connect avatar robots to remote human workflows that would help underdeveloped
countries create jobs.
Xprize competition: 37 teams from 15 countries were selected to participate in the ANA Avatar XPRIZE competition, and we are thrilled to
announce that Team Aham(Avataar Robotics) was one of the 3 teams from India to be selected.

Project Eklavya
India has more than 300mn schools kids with fewer number of teachers. In some states the ratio is as low as 1:60. Project “Eklavya” named
after a character in mythological epic Mahabharata is about leveraging the power of curiosity driven self learning, peer learning and project
driven learning to scale learning for AI age, under NEP (New Education Policy).

DataSetu
DataSetu is working towards maintaining the highest standards around data privacy and confidentiality. As we go forward, we will be using
the latest technologies in confidential computing and security to ensure that the patient's data are protected, yet at the same time, they
are available for furthering the development of AI algorithms that will benefit society. DataSetu seeks to create high-quality data for
collaboration based on the key insights of the need for data confidentiality.

Autonomous Mobility
A tele autonomous mobility solution is being developed at ARTPARK in conjunction with the Indian Institute of Science(IISc). Currently,
teledriving trials are being conducted using a custom electric buggy vehicle in the IISc campus. Commercial telecom networks are being
used for this purpose. Independent safety audits are to be performed upon the conclusion of the trials.

Academic Initiatives: Innovation Grant Program
The Innovation Grant Program invites highly motivated and talented faculty members, along with their under-graduate and postgraduate students, to apply for
research projects in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Autonomous Systems. ARTPARK has supported 29 teams working on very diverse set of
