CLOUD PLATFORMS:

Cloud platforms are online services that provide computing resources including storage, processing power,
and apps on demand. To accommodate diverse user needs, multiple cloud platforms provide a range of capabilities,
price structures, and tools.

CLOUD PLATFORM TYPES:

The following are some distinctions between various cloud platforms:

1. Public Cloud:

Public cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and
Microsoft Azure are widely used cloud platforms that offer computing resources over the internet. They are
managed by a third-party provider and are generally used for hosting websites, running applications, and
storing data. These platforms are cost-effective, scalable, and easy to use.

2. Private Cloud:

Private cloud platforms are used by organizations that require complete control over their infrastructure.
These platforms can be hosted on-premises or in a third-party data center, and they are generally used by
businesses with high-security requirements, such as financial institutions and healthcare organizations.

3. Hybrid Cloud:

Hybrid cloud platforms are a combination of public and private cloud platforms. They offer the benefits of
both public and private clouds, allowing organizations to take advantage of the scalability and cost-
effectiveness of public clouds, while also maintaining control over sensitive data and applications.

PRICING MODEL:

Cloud platforms have different pricing models, and it is essential to consider these when choosing a cloud
platform. Some platforms offer a pay-as-you-go model, where users pay only for the resources they use, while
others offer a subscription model, where users pay a fixed monthly fee for access to a specific set of resources.

TOOLS AND SERVICES:

Different cloud platforms offer various tools and services that cater to different user requirements. For
example, AWS offers services for machine learning, database management, and analytics, while GCP offers services
for Internet of Things (IoT), security, and networking. It is important to consider the tools and services offered by
different platforms and choose the one that best suits your needs.

COMPARISON

AWS, Azure, and GCP are engaged in a tough three-way competition for cloud supremacy. The uninformed may
just consider cost when selecting a public cloud service provider, but there are other variables to take into account
as well.

Below is the comparison between 03 Major Cloud service providers.

AWS handily defeats all other major cloud service providers in this comparison of Azure, AWS, and Google
Cloud by a wide margin thanks to more points. The fact that Azure and GCP are gradually moving up the list makes
it difficult to estimate how long Amazon will hold onto its position as the top cloud provider. Despite the fact that
Amazon was the first of its sort, Azure and GCP each have their own advantages. It makes more sense for many
firms that use MS products to use Azure cloud because it is easier to connect MS technologies with it.

And the sole justification for clients to choose GCP is that it offers the most reasonable pricing for the
infrastructure that powers Google Search and YouTube.

All things considered, it is more accurate to say that choosing the best cloud service depends on your needs rather
than ranking the best cloud providers.

FINAL WORDS:

In conclusion, numerous cloud computing platforms provide a range of functionalities, financial arrangements, and
tools to meet the needs of varied users. In order to make sure that the cloud platform you select will fulfil your
company's goals, it is critical to consider these considerations.
