Introduction and fundamental

• Water is the world’s most precious resource. However, it is not exempt from certain impurities that can severely affect clean
consumption. These impurities include dust, fine sand, clay, dirt, and biological contaminants. Contaminated water is also
known as impurities water.
• Water purification is a process removing undesirable chemicals, biological contaminants, suspended solids and gases
from contaminated water.

• Filtration is a process used to separate solids (solid residue or impurities

contaminate) from liquids or gases using a filter medium that allows
the fluid to pass through but not the solid. THEORY and
• Distillation is the process that occurs when a liquid sample is volatilized
to produce a vapor that is subsequently condensed to a liquid richer in
concepts
the more volatile components of the original sample.

CONCLUSION

CONCLUSION
Many methods were used to study this research and information were collected through internet, books and journals and
experiment to achieve the objectives of this research. We carry out the experiment for purifying the water samples.
14 different types of water samples such as tap water, rain water, salt water, sugar water, drain water, river water flour
water and etc. are used to carry out the experiment. The methods used for the purpose of water treatment or to purify
the water samples were filtration and distillation.
From this project, the knowledge has been known that is different water samples have different pH value and purity. The
ways to purify the water samples have also been studied throughout this study.

10
20/3/2023

Other different types of water samples such as sewer water, pond water, or
other more dirtier water samples to test the purification efficiency. The dirtier
the water sample, the more impurities in the water so that we can use more
ways to purify the dirty water samples with impurities or contaminants.

Other method such as chlorination method to purify the water samples in

future study. As real-life situation, chlorine can kill the bacteria in the
Recommendation swimming pools. However, some bacteria are not be fully killed as they are
not under the heat of or more than boiling point of water, which is 100℃.

This project is useful in human. There are many ways to kill the bacteria
and remove contaminants in water to let human drink safely. Human will not
face food poisoning water if water of all the places is being purified when
needed to use it in domestic.
