Tasks:
Working for the Project Owner as Mechanical Rotating Engineer
1. At the Engineering stage
 Monitor the FEED design process, review and approve drawings, specifications,
datasheets and other documents of Mechanical Rotating/Packages issued by
FEED/EPC Contractor.
 Join the Engineering team in supervising and approving basic design documents,
FEED and detailed design documents to ensure compliance with project standards
and contract regulations.
 Participate in the tendering works to evaluate and selection of EPC/PMC
Contractor.
 Review and monitor Cost Estimation for Mechanical Rotating part in FEED/EPC
design stage.
 Others requested Lead Mechanical/ or Managers.
2. At the Construction stage
 Responsible for Mechanical Construction work activities done by EPC Contractor
with reviewing and monitoring schedule, quality, reliability, efficiency, safety, and
environmentally compatible with design, procurement, manufacturing, shipping and
construction…
 Available to supplier’s workshop for witness, inspection, FAT…
Requirements
 Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petrochemical Machinery and
:
Equipment or equivalent.

 Good English communication skills.

 Good skill in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, relevant software.

 Having 8 ~ 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years of experience working


in an Engineering Company as a Rotating Equipment Engineer in design, and 2
years work in construction site.

 Have experience in the following: Mechanical Rotating Basic Design, Rotating


Equipment Data sheets/Calculation/specification/general arrangement drawings,
Material Handling Report, Long Lead Equipment’s, Critical Equipment Study,
Requisitions, Mechanical MTO, Technical Bid Evaluation, reviewing Vendor
documents. Etc.,

 Experience in mechanical seal/coupling/lubrication system, foundation components


(sole plates, base plates, grouting) for compressors, agitator and pump/driver in
design, selection of type and installation.

 Understands how to interpret facility schematic drawings such as PFDs, P&IDs,


and Equipment Layouts.

 Knowledge about the installation sequence.

 Understanding the procedures to execute the project in FEED and EPC stage.

 Having experience in Static Equipment Engineering is an advantage.

 Used to working in an International EPC company is an advantage.


 Being familiar with international codes and standards (API, ASME, ANSI,
ASTM…), local regulations related to Mechanical Engineering.
