To install SAP GUI 8 64-bit and its latest patch, follow these steps: 1. Run the SAP GUI 64-bit setup as administrator and select SAP GUI and PDFPRINT components. 2. Please follow below steps to install SAP GUI version 8 64 bit and its latest patch:

1. Install SAP GUI 64 bit Setup (Run as Administrator), as shown in below snapshot. You may
also start SAP GUI Setup through shortcut (SapGui64Setup.exe – Shortcut) given in main
folder (SAP GUI 8) by (Run as Administrator).

2. During SAP GUI installation, select SAP component (SAP GUI for Windows 8.00 64bit) and
(SAP PDFPRINT for SAP GUI 8.00 64bit) as shown in below snapshot and click next.
3. After installing SAP GUI 8, go to main folder (SAP GUI 8) to access latest patch of 64bit
or 32 bit, if available in the said folder. Start installation of patch by (Run as
Administrator), as shown in below snapshot.

4. After installing SAP GUI, make connections of PRD (SAP Production Server) in newly
installed SAP GUI with parameters given below:

Connection-1: for Connecting from Office Connection-2: for Connecting from home without
VPN
Description: PRD - Office Description: PRD - Home
Application Server: 10.72.0.250 Application Server: 10.72.0.250
Instance No.: 00 Instance No.: 00
System ID: PRD System ID: PRD
SAP Router String: /H/111.68.100.179/S/3299
5. After installing SAP GUI and latest patch, go to options as shown in below snapshot:

6. In options, under Visual Design - > Theme Settings, select SAP Signature Theme and
press OK, as shown in below snapshot:
7. If user complains about any issue like printing problems in SAP, refer him / her to below
