on HR programs and workforce performance. HRA provides you with the critical HR metrics and people data for D

Role and Responsibilities:
As a BI Lead was responsible for defining the BI Data Model for HR Analytics Solution in OBIEE Reporting
Tool
Managing the team, assigning daily tickets to the team and tracking the same through ticket tracker to
ensure tickets do not breach SLA.

Coordinating with the client for the weekly/fortnightly migrations and updating weekly project status. Also
coordinating with the client on weekly CAB calls for any infrastructure related activity.

Scope of Project:
Triple’A is a sophisticated portfolio management solution. It is designed to be used by relationship
managers and portfolio managers alike within a front- and middle office environment and enable them to better
manage investment portfolios. The system allows you to automate the investment process, ensuring that the
investment professional is focused on “exception management” and value-added client services rather than
restricted by the need to deal with routine processes or administrative procedures. On a high level Triple’A
consists of 2 standard components (“Portfolio Management & Analysis” and “Portfolio Modeling & Rebalancing).
Triple’A provides high end reporting services to Private clients on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Scope of Project:
SMART (Self Managed Analytical and Reporting Tool) provides you a self-service, convenient way to
access some of the most commonly requested reports from Marketing & Information Products & Services. By
using the automated report selection options, you can generate customized SMART reports directly from your
computer. SMART is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, making it easier than ever before to Understand
your industry or market segment, review the characteristics of your best customers, Generate and print client-
ready reports that comply with American Express Information Policy.

Scope of Project:
The Client uses IMO application which is a web delivery application to run reports and queries. IMO
application consists of various kinds of reports. The list includes Transaction Reports, Position Reports,
Cash Reports, Compliance Reports and Performance Reports. There are various features provided in IMO
as per client's requirement i.e. Run to Inbox, Schedule a job, Run reports as a group, Save report to
library, Aggregate reporting etc.
Actuate is selected as the preferred tool for all of IMO reporting requirements. SQL data-views (de-
normalized structure) are built within the EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) to support reporting
requirements. EDW also provides its own “reporting data mart (RDM), which can also be leveraged for
reporting needs. Although the RDM is utilized more in conjunction with “HiReporting” (which is another
offering of the DSTi Product Suite)
Scope of Project:
• FDW known as Financial Data Warehouse is State Street’s reporting infrastructure at company level for
consolidated reporting as well as regional financial reporting. It acts as a consistent integration point for
financial data and facilitates standard reporting and analytical capabilities and hence is the official book of
records for State Street Corporation. FDW provides daily reporting needs for the general ledger system.

• FDW uses STAR schema, combines FCS and ORACLE GL data in a common account structure. FDW stores
the following types of General Ledger data:-
I. Actual and Average Balances in Functional and Transactional currencies
II. Budget and Forecast balances
• FDW Actuate Reports is web-based reporting application that produces fixed format financial reports which
can be printed or exported in variety of formats. Actuate reports provide access to Balance Sheet, Income
Statement, Account Receivable, Accounts Payable, Daily Account Activity, Consolidated PnL data from
FDW. It is a reporting and decision support system with data extracted from major systems sources
(Oracle Applications, FCS and OFSA) and organized in a structure that is more intuitive for querying and
reporting.
• The objective of FDW Reports is to represent a financial reporting infrastructure that centralizes access to
information, data, applications, reporting and analytical systems for the required financial content.
Scope of Project:
State Street has a division called IMS i.e. Investment manager solution. The objective of this group is to
help State Street customers to outsource their middle and back office operations so that they can focus
on their core competencies like consulting their clients. Some of the State Street clients are GE,
JW Seligman, Gartmore, AAAM, Silver, Investec and SWIP. They have outsourced their middle and
back office operations to State Street.
The customer data is then processed in State Street’s enterprise suite of applications and then stored into
Enterprise Data Warehouse. Syntel’s BI group is responsible for pulling the data from EDW and presenting
it to customers in the form of reports as per their requirements.
These Reports are developed Actuate e.Report Designer Professional, Actuate Information Objects,
Actuate e.Spreadsheet Designer, Actuate Cube Analytics
Syntel has developed customized portal for State Street using Actuate Active Portal. The Project is mainly
based on financial reports and spreadsheets.

Scope of Project:
The Application handles the Bill Generation activity for the Whole South Circle that comprises Mumbai,
Gujarat, Kolkata, and Karnataka, Chennai and Hyderabad circles and also handling Bill Generation for
North circles that comprises Delhi, Upeast, Upwest, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan.
The highly automated application supports dynamic bill layout generation, with customized requests for
corporate/retail customers at detail call levels. For instance corporate customers can receive a
summarized & consolidated view of all the mobile numbers, as well as understand charges of individual
mobile number.
Creating company health report for every billcycle for analyzing the customer base and revenue growth
and also populating the database after each billcycle.
Application enables the customers to view their bills on the internet through a simple browser and perform
advanced billing analysis / accounting, searching, printing and exporting to external applications.
Role:
Customizing the bill design for single & corporate customers in six bill cycles in every month for each circle
as per the Client requirements.
Installation of Actuate on SunSolaris 5.8 Server, Which includes installing Actuate Iserver, Actuate
Management Console, Actuate Active Portal and Actuate Server Integrated technology.
Taking various types of Backup like backup onto Tape, from Encyclopedia volume (Web folder) & Log files.
Also restoring the data back from the tape as per requirement.
Automated the Whole backup process happening after each bill cycle by creating shell script for the whole
backup process.
