The guide you’ve all been waiting for.

Step 1: Go to www.eastbay.com

**Please note, Eastbay is a RETAIL site not a wholesale/distributor. This method is not typical
and not recommended for getting ungated for other categories/brands. **. With that being
said, a business entity IS NOT required.

Step 2: Here are sample products that you can use to purchase a minimum of 10 units of each
sku.

• Nike - https://www.eastbay.com/product/nike-elite-crew-socks/7626463.html
• Adidas - https://www.eastbay.com/product/adidas-interval-reversible-headband-
mens/134713.html

When purchasing these items, make sure your name and address match the name and address
that Amazon has on file for your seller account.

Step 3: Do not submit the email receipt, wait for product to arrive and you will be using the
receipt (invoice) that comes with the product for submission.
Ensure that the invoice provided contains Eastbay’s address and contact information and that it
is legible.

Optional: Feel free to cross out any dollar figure on the invoice.

DO NOT submit the bottom “return” portion of the invoice.

EXAMPLE:

STEP 3a: It has come to our attention that Eastbay will sometimes have products shipped on
their behalf from other foot sites (ex: Footlocker). When this happens, the invoice we need will
most likely not be included in the package you receive with the products.

You have two options here:


• Return your products and try a different product in hopes Eastbay ships it and not
another foot site.
• Call Eastbay and request the Invoice. Invoices generated by customer service phone
support WILL NOT come with Eastbay’s address and contact information. Please
request customer service agent to add that and make sure it’s on the invoice otherwise
the invoice WILL NOT work. If the Eastbay customer service rep doesn’t know how to
generate an invoice for you, end your call and call back until you get someone who
knows how. If you still can’t get an invoice with all required information, then please
refer to the first option.
STEP 4: Locate the appropriate item you purchased on Amazon then submit invoice for
approval.

STEP 5: Approval could take anywhere from 48 hours to a couple of months. If you do not
receive your approval within a week and at least 2 follow up message attempts, please close
that application and submit a new un-gating application.

If you get a denial, close the application and resubmit a new application, repeat this process if
denial happens again.

STEP 6: Repeat process for other brands on Eastbay.

STEP 7: Source.

TIPS:
-Leverage Nike Outlets, Kohl’s, Marshall’s, TJ Max, Ross, etc, even more.
-When running online searches, search NIKE on websites and enter that info into the category
section of our online tool.
