About Us
Students achieve in a caring environment that involves a very real and
positive partnership between parents, students and the school. We aim to
provide a happy and exciting environment in which all students can
succeed. We expect students to work hard, respect each other, be
responsible and contribute to the life of the school. All achievements are
celebrated and high standards are gained through the dedication and
ability of our professional staff.

Doaba Public School is proud of its reputation as a caring school. Each


student is treated as an individual and the school is, therefore, organized
on a tutor based system.
Our Vision

Doaba Public Sen. Sec. School is founded on the principle of


“Every Child Matters” where we strive to nurture intrinsically
motivated, collaborative learners who listen, question,
challenge and probe the world around them. They are taught
to take ownership of their learning that aids them in becoming
responsible, global citizens. We aim at creating an educational
environment which motivates all the students to enhance their
abilities, interests and talents to the fullest.
Our Mission
Academic excellence is the hallmark of DPS and the school is
committed in providing a comprehensive education which seeks
to develop the students into academically proficient, morally
upright and socially well-integrated leaders of tomorrow.

The work done by one man has an effect on the lives of every
man in his vicinity and beyond. This is like when a stone is
thrown in a pond and the first ripple creates further ripples in the
water. “Service before Self” is the only way by which the world
will be rid of all the problems we face today and we will be able
to escape the ‘charkravyuh’ we have found ourselves in, today.

Secondary School needs no introduction. An eminent
educationist and an able administrator of vision and initiative.
Unfortunately, he is no more in the world. But he has left his
guidelines and spirit of hard work and devotion to duty to inspire
others.

Sardarni Balvinder Kaur

With an experience of over 38 years in academic circles Mrs.


Balvinder Kaur, one of the founder member of Doaba Public Sen.
Sec. School had crossed many milestones of success with the
school. She had also won many state and national awards for her
contribution to the education in the region. Popular among the
students and staff, with a very positive soul she was the leading
light of the school.
Infrastructure
Our total area is 10 Acres.
The school boasts of a student strength of over 2550 that are well
taken care of by a highly qualified and compassionate staff. The
medium of institution is English with stress in communicative as
well as creative part.

The school has a fleet of 38 buses with fire extinguishers, first-aid


box to adhere with emergencies. This department is taken care of
by Mr. Sumit Verma (Transport In-charge). We try to fulfill the
norms as per guidelines from Supreme Court. We also have ATL
labs to encourage students to have hands on practice and learn
the process in a fun way, instead of memorizing.
School Clubs

School has always believed in the strength of its students-the


youth power, as Youth has been purposefully designated an
imperative position in the society. Many dignitaries and famous
personalities stress on the youth segment and its role in shaping
the future of a country. As a believer of this pragmatic policy Doaba
Public School took an imperative step and started with the vision
‘Every Child Matters’. We believe in involving our students in
various social, environmental, literary and other sectors, thus
making them grow and evolve as ideal leaders and examples for
the society.
Sports and Extracurricular Activities

May it be physical fitness, discipline, team coordination,


cooperation, team spirit, motivation or enthusiasm etc. Sports can
and do turn up as a single medium through which a person can
inculcate all such qualities. DPSP pays extreme attention to this
segment and has made efficacious efforts to promote this stream
within its students. Our provisions is as follows -:
